Agreed, but I'm holding off on the 'Gardy Jr.' label until Molitor gets crushed by the Yankees in the playoffs a few more times.

 

Also, Molitor's face has yet to achieve that shade of cherry tomato red that Gardy's did when he was ejected. Hope he's not giving up on getting there some day.

I don’t feel like going back and looking, but I would presume the wisdom of allowing Odorizzi to face a lineup for the third time has been discussed already. He simply shouldn’t face hitters the third time. EVER.

Concur. But on this team, at this time, he has to catch. He does have flexible wrists though. That one slider he turned his wrist completely around and shoved the ball 4" off the plate. That's not easy to do. Nor will any umpire call it a strike after a contortion like that.
