Cimber being bad shouldn't be a surprise - he's a 27 year old rookie who was never considered to have MLB-caliber stuff. He's the type of arm that only really works at Petco Park.

I hate to use the old Belisle argument, but Cimber has pitched in 6 games for Cleveland, and only given up runs in one of them. It was 3 runs, though, and he's really a sidearming right-handed specialist so that torpedoed his ERA (only 3.1 IP in those 6 games). He does have yet to record a strikeout with Cleveland, though.

 

Still think he could be useful, I don't know if he was really a product of Petco.

Bauer seems never to hit the catcher's mitt, but still paints the edge of the plate in a different location. Is the catcher trying to deke the baserunner who might be signalling the batter?

If you complain on what was done to this team all you have to do is watch this game and the rest of the series to realize how far we are away from competing with good teams.

I found it funny that Encarnacion hit a foul ball so deep it hit the "HOME" in the HOME RUN PORCH sign.

 

Also, we might just be witnessing our final Twins outing for Belisle. Fingers crossed.
