Danchat Old-Timey Member Posted July 29, 2018 Posted July 29, 2018 What is this bad play he made?It was a ball that Cave didn't have the speed for and Buxton would have made. It stunk, but that's what happens when Buxton's not there. Most teams don't have CFs who catch that.
AlwaysinModeration Verified Member Posted July 29, 2018 Posted July 29, 2018 Indians lose. Chance to gain a game.
Platoon Verified Member Posted July 29, 2018 Posted July 29, 2018 It’s the only feed I get with my MLB Extra Innings package. Have the sound off and am listening to ‘CCO even though the delay is behind the visual. When listening to Danno that's an advantage, at least you can figure out what he is trying to describe.
Platoon Verified Member Posted July 29, 2018 Posted July 29, 2018 Magill sighting! I sort of figured Molitor would take him along to Cooperstown so no one could use him by mistake?
TwinsCD Verified Member Posted July 29, 2018 Posted July 29, 2018 Perhaps Moya and his 8+ ERA should stop fidgeting so much and actually find a way to get hitters out.
Platoon Verified Member Posted July 29, 2018 Posted July 29, 2018 Graver has to catch that. It's a WP, but still stoppable.
tvagle Verified Member Posted July 29, 2018 Posted July 29, 2018 I hope the Twins find a catcher in a couple years...not sure Mitch could handle 100mph
tvagle Verified Member Posted July 29, 2018 Posted July 29, 2018 Graver has to catch that. It's a WP, but still stoppable. At least he pushed it to the corner and didn't leave a rebound out front...oh wait this isn't Wild Daily??

tvagle Verified Member Posted July 29, 2018 Posted July 29, 2018 Graver has to catch that. It's a WP, but still stoppable. That's what he does to pitches...boxes them up for the grave
hybridbear Verified Member Posted July 29, 2018 Posted July 29, 2018 Wow! Magill! I guess Molitor didn't leave explicit instructions not to use him. Maybe Belisle will be on the bench tonight too. Wouldn't that be a treat?
Danchat Old-Timey Member Posted July 29, 2018 Posted July 29, 2018 Graver has to catch that. It's a WP, but still stoppable.Yup, that one came right out of his glove. That's on him even though Moya lost total control of that pitch.
tvagle Verified Member Posted July 29, 2018 Posted July 29, 2018 Magill-icutty should just give up the 3 run bomb so Doze and Gibby can get traded and I can order MLB.tv
Richie the Rally Goat Community Moderator Posted July 29, 2018 Posted July 29, 2018 Nice to see Magill getting into some higher intensity situations
Squirrel Community Moderator Posted July 29, 2018 Posted July 29, 2018 And Pressly gives up a home run in his first appearance as an Astro.
tvagle Verified Member Posted July 29, 2018 Posted July 29, 2018 Power of Negativity for the Win! (sounds better than Pizza Ranch)
yarnivek1972 Verified Member Posted July 29, 2018 Posted July 29, 2018 Interesting bullpen usage. Can definitely tell MOY is not in the dugout.

jtkoupal Verified Member Posted July 29, 2018 Posted July 29, 2018 Jake Odorizzi has no pitched 112 innings this year and has an ERA of 4.58. Sure his strikeout rate of about 9.5 K/9 is excellent, but he also has no control of the strike zone and is walking roughly 3.8 per 9. On average, he gives the Twins 5 innings per start. I've said it before. I will say it again... JAKE ODORIZZI IS A RELIEF PITCHER!!! The Twins are experimenting with "The Opener" in the minors. Odorizzi should be on the list of guys who that experiment is used on. He has 7 quality starts in 22 tries. He turns in a quality start about 32% of the time. For comparison, Kyle Gibson has 12 quality starts in 21 starts, or about 57% of the time. Jake has always had potential. He was a top prospect at one point. He has, for the most part, been an average-to-below average pitcher his whole career, with the exception of 2015. He still has years ahead of him, but to this point, he has been very disappointing.
Danchat Old-Timey Member Posted July 29, 2018 Posted July 29, 2018 Whoa, Magill's pitching really well? Who woulda thunk? Too bad Molly has refused to use him and it's costed the Twins. He could have helped last night.
hybridbear Verified Member Posted July 29, 2018 Posted July 29, 2018 So disappointing to see the drop off in CF defense with no Buxton. The Twins need his defense. I don't think Cave hits any better than Buxton and he certainly doesn't compare on defense.
mrmpls Verified Member Posted July 29, 2018 Posted July 29, 2018 How Mcgill is not being used over Belisle - like to ask Molly or the g.m. 2-some that* and why belisle is even here, -Dosent help any devolpment of younger relievers

Cave may strike out a lot but right now his bat is considerably better.
