yarnivek1972 Verified Member Posted July 14, 2018 Posted July 14, 2018 47th appearance for Pressly. Team game 93. Only the Mariners’ Edwin Diaz has more (48). Worth noting however that Seattle has completed 95 games already.

tvagle Verified Member Posted July 14, 2018 Posted July 14, 2018 Hard to say what belisle ahead but it doesn't look good for the home team
yarnivek1972 Verified Member Posted July 14, 2018 Posted July 14, 2018 Also worth noting he has 36 saves. And his stats are just a liiiiiittle bit better than Pressly. Not really sure how that is relevant to their workload. What is relevant is that the M’s are in the thick of the playoff race. The Twins are still a half dozen games under .500.
yarnivek1972 Verified Member Posted July 14, 2018 Posted July 14, 2018 Will there be a Magill sighting?
tvagle Verified Member Posted July 14, 2018 Posted July 14, 2018 Well at least RG kept things in order so our speedster at the bottom of the order leads off the 8th (wouldn't help to have a speedy defensive OF on the roster instead of yesterday's starter who could get some work in AAA over the break and be brought back up in time to make his next start)
jun Verified Member Posted July 14, 2018 Posted July 14, 2018 3 runs down, strikeout looking, what is Grossman looking for? That's one of the two reasons why I don't want to see Grossman in the lineup.
yarnivek1972 Verified Member Posted July 14, 2018 Posted July 14, 2018 Did the Twins DFA Magill and somehow we all missed it?
bighat Verified Member Posted July 14, 2018 Posted July 14, 2018 Embarrassing way to handle a 6-4 lead from the pitching staff. Our lone All-Star limps into the mid-summer classic after getting hammered. Eddie should be our All-Star, alas the AL outfield is stacked...but he is our best player and should be repping the Twins in the game.
bighat Verified Member Posted July 14, 2018 Posted July 14, 2018 Belisle greeted with a leadoff single.
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted July 14, 2018 Posted July 14, 2018 This would be a tough loss if in fact it will be a loss
Blake Verified Member Posted July 14, 2018 Posted July 14, 2018 What in the world? I walk in the door after shooting IDPA and the score is 6-4 Twins. I clean up, wander out and the Twins are losing 9-6? Really?
yarnivek1972 Verified Member Posted July 14, 2018 Posted July 14, 2018 Bad Belisle has reared his ugly head.
Circus Boy Verified Member Posted July 14, 2018 Posted July 14, 2018 Disappointing to give up the lead. Winnable game. Is there time?
S. Verified Member Posted July 14, 2018 Posted July 14, 2018 Not really sure how that is relevant to their workload. What is relevant is that the M’s are in the thick of the playoff race. The Twins are still a half dozen games under .500.I'd say its relevant because he is their closer and 39 of his 48 appearances have been save opportunities. Also it makes more sense to use a good pitcher a lot. Where as it doesn't make sense to keep riding the guy with a 1.465 WHIP. Diaz has a WHIP that is nearly half of Pressly's
yarnivek1972 Verified Member Posted July 14, 2018 Posted July 14, 2018 Bert’s spot on there. Escobar has to get that.
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted July 14, 2018 Posted July 14, 2018 I’ve never seen a guy collapse like that
Danchat Old-Timey Member Posted July 14, 2018 Posted July 14, 2018 Maybe now's a good time to remind Molitor that 2017 Belisle was a much better pitcher after at least one day of rest and his worst outings came when he had pitched the previous day...
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted July 14, 2018 Posted July 14, 2018 That ball should have been blasted into oblivion. I don’t blame Duffy for literally almost swinging out of his shoes
tvagle Verified Member Posted July 14, 2018 Posted July 14, 2018 It will be amazing if Belisle can get a Houdini here
bighat Verified Member Posted July 14, 2018 Posted July 14, 2018 Belisle...he has to be gone after the ASB. The Twins have better options! What are they doing?
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted July 14, 2018 Posted July 14, 2018 It will be amazing if Belisle can get a Houdini hereI think his disappearance would make many happy I kid, matt, I kid,
yarnivek1972 Verified Member Posted July 14, 2018 Posted July 14, 2018 Sure is great that MOY wasted Pressly today.
Danchat Old-Timey Member Posted July 14, 2018 Posted July 14, 2018 Belisle...he has to be gone after the ASB. The Twins have better options! What are they doing? With the way his last 5 appearances went (0 runs allowed) he's probably earned the rest of the season in Molitor's book.
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted July 14, 2018 Posted July 14, 2018 I never wold have guessed we’d lose by 6 runs after going ahead.
