I wonder how many teams have taken the lead in the home half of the 6th and have needed to use a position player to pitch the 9th? That’s gotta be a first

Austiudillo has no more business pitching than I do.

Molitor has made dumb moves. This might be the dumbest.

They didn’t NEED to. Magill is still sitting out there.

My guess is Magill starts tomorrow's game

They could emulate Tampa's bullpen game strategy and have Slegers and Magill basically be co-starters... but I can't see Molitor having that kind of creativity.

Then that is poor roster management. The Twins have at least three others that easily could (Slegers, Romero, Santana).

Honestly that's where I stand as well. What did he do to deserve that? Literally created this account to say this. There was no reason to do that to Astudillo.
