I am under the impression Stars and Stripes Forever was included in circus books, but never played in the normal course of the circus. It got pulled played when disaster struck so that everyone knew something was dreadfully wrong, a real emergency.

since Sano and Buxton were sent out they have played 20 games and are 6-14. The previous 20 games they were 9-11. Twins weren't great with them but they are terrible without them. Front office bailed on this team by sending them both out. they did it last year with Kinsler and got away with it but not this year.

 

I believe this front office has a mess on their hands that they created. it looks like not only have they lost the fans but the clubhouse.

Front office bailed on this team by sending them both out. they did it last year with Kinsler and got away with it but not this year.

Pretty harsh but I don't completely disagree. I also think the core of this team is still good and they can rebound with 90+ wins in 2019.

Sending Sano and Buxton down to get themselves right because they were struggling and trading Kintzler are two very different things. Sano and Buxton (ignoring that he was injured to begin with) will determine how good this team will be in the future. They certainly did this year. They needed to be sent down to get right. Kintzler wasn't in the long term plans anyway.

 

I don't completely disagree that they've lost the clubhouse or the fans, but these aren't the reasons why.
