I am watching the facebook feed and somewhat attempting to work.    Highlights so far - nice interview with Gibson.  Odorizzi has escaped some jams.   The hitting - we have all seen before this year.

LaTroy sounds a lot better when he's not giggling at every inane comment made by Bremer.

Ugh a weak groundout - yep should have had Odorizzi batting 8th.    They might have walked him though to get to Wilson.

If this whole thing doesn’t get like 300% better soon, our manager isn’t gonna make it. Nor should some of the staff. The whole organization needs an enema. Bad.

Day game after night game, it’s almost an unwritten rule you catch someone else the next day. I can understand cuz we don’t have anyone else available...........

And the dude is making very weak contact - even his pop-ups are low and only make it to the first row of the seats.

I bet Molly’s playing Wilson because Wilson needs a few more days at the ML level to be vested.

At least the weekend losses had some drama and storylines to hang on. I've watched more compelling coats of paint drying. This team is absolutely dead in the water- I hope Falvine already have an interim manager lined up to take over after the ASG... or maybe Dougie Fresh?

If that is even close to being true, it's shades of Gardy and Nick P, and grounds for dismissal with cause.

I’ve had relationships with ex girlfriends end more cleanly than the relationship between Doug and the twins ended

I can understand not wanting to play your rookie-ish catcher with bad defense when you’re competing for a playoff spot. Since that’s not the case, maybe Garver should play every day, since he might get better with, I don’t know, reps?

I f-Ing hate walks. Throw it down the middle, and if they crush it, hats off to the hitter. Kinda like Gibson did after getting a 5-1 lead. Almost walked the first hitter, but grooved one and the batter hit one out.

Have no problem with that!

Escobear cooled off fastttt. Still bugs me we never avenged his dirty hbp

It’s too bad, but Escobar was never going to be a .300+ and .900 ops guy. I do think he can be a .270+ .800 ops guy. That’s why you don’t offer a contract extension while he’s in a hot streak.

non-competitive pitch...non-competitive pitch...strike...non-competitive pitch...strike...foul ball...defenders lose interest...line drive base hit

repeat 15 times in 4+ innings

Probably not but the fact we just let it slide was....soft. A soft team. That’s what we are.

Walks are bad sure, but perhaps we can find a middle ground between throwing balls and throwing batting practice.
