jokin Old-Timey Member Posted July 3, 2018 Posted July 3, 2018 I am watching the facebook feed and somewhat attempting to work. Highlights so far - nice interview with Gibson. Odorizzi has escaped some jams. The hitting - we have all seen before this year. LaTroy sounds a lot better when he's not giggling at every inane comment made by Bremer.
wavedog Verified Member Posted July 3, 2018 Posted July 3, 2018 BS - never had the ball in his glove - got to challenge that one
tvagle Verified Member Posted July 3, 2018 Posted July 3, 2018 We got Wilson up - he 's due!He's Over-due...to be DFA'd
jokin Old-Timey Member Posted July 3, 2018 Posted July 3, 2018 We got Wilson up - he 's due! Due to be DFA'd.
wavedog Verified Member Posted July 3, 2018 Posted July 3, 2018 Ugh a weak groundout - yep should have had Odorizzi batting 8th. They might have walked him though to get to Wilson.
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted July 3, 2018 Posted July 3, 2018 If this whole thing doesn’t get like 300% better soon, our manager isn’t gonna make it. Nor should some of the staff. The whole organization needs an enema. Bad.
curt1965 Verified Member Posted July 3, 2018 Posted July 3, 2018 Day game after night game, it’s almost an unwritten rule you catch someone else the next day. I can understand cuz we don’t have anyone else available...........
notoriousgod71 Verified Member Posted July 3, 2018 Posted July 3, 2018 Also...Guy in a Superman shirt sitting behind home plate who looks nothing like Superman St. Cloud Superman?
Richie the Rally Goat Community Moderator Posted July 3, 2018 Posted July 3, 2018 Tried watching the game on FB. Pop ups, ads, delays-terrible.I see Odorizzi over 30 pitches in first inning- what else is new it’s like getting the pop up adds and lag twice!

curt1965 Verified Member Posted July 3, 2018 Posted July 3, 2018 I bet Molly’s playing Wilson because Wilson needs a few more days at the ML level to be vested.

The whole organization needs an enema. Bad. At least the weekend losses had some drama and storylines to hang on. I've watched more compelling coats of paint drying. This team is absolutely dead in the water- I hope Falvine already have an interim manager lined up to take over after the ASG... or maybe Dougie Fresh?

Cap'n Piranha Verified Member Posted July 3, 2018 Posted July 3, 2018 I can understand not wanting to play your rookie-ish catcher with bad defense when you’re competing for a playoff spot. Since that’s not the case, maybe Garver should play every day, since he might get better with, I don’t know, reps?
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted July 3, 2018 Posted July 3, 2018 Escobear cooled off fastttt. Still bugs me we never avenged his dirty hbp

curt1965 Verified Member Posted July 3, 2018 Posted July 3, 2018 I f-Ing hate walks. Throw it down the middle, and if they crush it, hats off to the hitter. Kinda like Gibson did after getting a 5-1 lead. Almost walked the first hitter, but grooved one and the batter hit one out.Have no problem with that!
tvagle Verified Member Posted July 3, 2018 Posted July 3, 2018 So that's what a hard hit ball looks like...Odoriffic

Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted July 3, 2018 Posted July 3, 2018 Another outfield bobble for Rosario. I’m done.
Danchat Verified Member Posted July 3, 2018 Posted July 3, 2018 Escobear cooled off fastttt. Still bugs me we never avenged his dirty hbp It’s too bad, but Escobar was never going to be a .300+ and .900 ops guy. I do think he can be a .270+ .800 ops guy. That’s why you don’t offer a contract extension while he’s in a hot streak.
tvagle Verified Member Posted July 3, 2018 Posted July 3, 2018 non-competitive pitch...non-competitive pitch...strike...non-competitive pitch...strike...foul ball...defenders lose interest...line drive base hit repeat 15 times in 4+ innings
