David HK Verified Member Posted July 3, 2018 Posted July 3, 2018 Gee, if we traded Byron Buxton for Keon Broxton, they could save some $ altering the jersey...
jun Verified Member Posted July 3, 2018 Posted July 3, 2018 Morrison and Wilson should be released. When Motter comes back from DL, he should be released.Adrianza will be back from DL soon.Vargas should be recalled since he can't be any worse than Morrison.Anyone can play first base, they might as well call up Sawyer if they don't want to call up Vargas.
h2oface Old-Timey Member Posted July 3, 2018 Posted July 3, 2018 That pitch Villar had no business hitting. Perfect location down and away but a strike.
Hosken Bombo Disco Community Moderator Posted July 3, 2018 Posted July 3, 2018 So so demoralizing. Every damn pitcher on this team gives up runs immediately after a nice inning by the offense.
Danchat Old-Timey Member Posted July 3, 2018 Posted July 3, 2018 What happened to Rosario having a good arm? He's been off target so much this year.He does have a good arm strength-wise, but his accuracy can be atrocious at times. He consistently missed the cut-off man at least 8-10 times last season.

alskntwnsfn Verified Member Posted July 3, 2018 Posted July 3, 2018 I think Joe West upheld the call out of pure spite for instant replay.
h2oface Old-Timey Member Posted July 3, 2018 Posted July 3, 2018 65 pitches in the 5th..... what to do....

Waiting on the second hop on that is bush league. He does have a good arm strength-wise, but his accuracy can be atrocious at times. He consistently missed the cut-off man at least 8-10 times last season.Yeah, I just don't remember it being this constant. Seems like he's made 5 awful throws in the last 2 weeks alone.

But, we should most definitely keep Wilson on the roster, and keep calling up catchers from Roch to play them in other postitions.
LaBombo Verified Member Posted July 3, 2018 Posted July 3, 2018 Gee, if we traded Byron Buxton for Keon Broxton, they could save some $ altering the jersey... I like the thrift angle, but it looks to me as though by the time the All Star Game rolls around, there will be nobody left to care about the spelling of the names on the jerseys besides the families of the players.
h2oface Old-Timey Member Posted July 3, 2018 Posted July 3, 2018 Ok... double play grounder and we are back at bat!
David HK Verified Member Posted July 3, 2018 Posted July 3, 2018 I don't know what's worse- Gibby turning back into Mr. Nibbles, Or Dick's announcement that Belisle is getting loose...

I'm confident that there will be plenty of blame to go around before it's all over.

h2oface Old-Timey Member Posted July 3, 2018 Posted July 3, 2018 Great strikeout pitch! Perfect location inside.

Nine of twelve Verified Member Posted July 3, 2018 Posted July 3, 2018 That's what can happen when a non-third baseman plays third base. Seemed like he didn't look it into his glove.
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted July 3, 2018 Posted July 3, 2018 I can’t believe how much this has unraveled. Usually a 2 out grand slam will bury an opponent. Not so with these bums. That was almost a big swinging salami
Danchat Old-Timey Member Posted July 3, 2018 Posted July 3, 2018 Wow, that was nearly a complete catastrophe there. Orf just missed that one.

We can only hope that the Belisle update is breaking news about our bullpen's elder statesman hanging up his cleats and embarking on his new career as celebrity spokesperson for Fiber One bars.
LaBombo Verified Member Posted July 3, 2018 Posted July 3, 2018 Wow, that was nearly a complete catastrophe there. No worries, this pitching staff has at least two or three more catastrophes in it.
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted July 3, 2018 Posted July 3, 2018 The brewers telecast also has a pizza ranch commercial which must mean pizza ranch is a regional chain. And we know how bad regional chain pizzerias are
