Molitor is really special. He actually thinks Wilson can hit and doesn't need a pinch hitter. How many managers would let someone who's hitting .125 hit for himself in the last inning when the game is so close?

So, you’re going to have Garver come in to catch with a one run lead in the 9th? That strategy would be open to more criticism. Why Wilson wasn’t bunting to move the insurance run into scoring position I don’t get.

Man, I was thinking before this trip how much fun it would be for the guys on the team- a week in Chicago- one of the greatest cities in the country for food, fun, and culture, 2 series without leaving town, then a jolly bus trip for 90 minutes to Milwaukee, another fun town.
