David HK Verified Member Posted May 16, 2018 Posted May 16, 2018 Heck of a pickoff move by Flaherty. Baserunners beware.Probably a big surprise, too. I 'spose they don't talk about stuff like pickoff moves during a pre-game meeting or anything, do they? Major leaguers. Heh... reminds me of my daze playing old-man ball in LA. I was coaching first one time, runner on- who happened to be a bass player in a band, and was deaf in one ear from standing next to the speakers (probably up to 11). Lefty on the mound."Stay close to the bag, and watch his move," I says. He turns to me, still standing off the base, so he can hear what I just said in his good ear. "Huh?"Whap! Fired a strike to the 1st baseman, who tagged him in the chest as he stood there, head turned away from the field. Was Adrianza's anything like that? Don Walcott, Platoon and ashbury 3
IndianaTwin Verified Member Posted May 16, 2018 Posted May 16, 2018 5. Mother’s Day:The Kids and I took my wife out to dinner for Mother’s Day. Every time we go out to eat, she declines dessert and eventually grabs a spoon and takes bites out of mine. Now she is upset with me because I had her sign a binding agreement stating that if she declined her own dessert she gives up any claims to mine. How ticked do you think she’ll be when she finds you posted this exchange on TD?
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted May 16, 2018 Posted May 16, 2018 I’ve been watching a Netflix documentary to keep me awake while watching this disaster of an offense. I suggest you do the same Mike Sixel 1

Danchat Old-Timey Member Posted May 16, 2018 Posted May 16, 2018 Well, we got good Berrios back, too bad the offense is a rotting corpse at this point. David HK and Hosken Bombo Disco 2
David HK Verified Member Posted May 16, 2018 Posted May 16, 2018 Why is Bobby Baby behind the plate today? Is he Jose's personal catcher? Or is Molly not noticing the difference between BA's of nearly 200 points difference, with a team that's struggling to score runs right now? Nothing against Bobby, I dig the guy. I just kind of want my team to win sometimes.

Brock Beauchamp Site Manager Posted May 16, 2018 Posted May 16, 2018 I really like this new (old) version of Rosario that doesn't swing at garbage pitches. Don Walcott 1

IndianaTwin Verified Member Posted May 16, 2018 Posted May 16, 2018 (edited) At the least, this at bat by Rosario probably chases Flaherty after the inning. Edited May 16, 2018 by IndianaTwin Don Walcott 1
