BoofBonser Verified Member Posted April 22, 2018 Posted April 22, 2018 I love when Sano doesn't strike out
Blake Verified Member Posted April 22, 2018 Posted April 22, 2018 Looked like a good job by Mr. Sano. Didn't try to do to much.
LaBombo Verified Member Posted April 22, 2018 Posted April 22, 2018 I understand we're limited with Byron out Keats and Shelley will just have to hold down the fort until Byron is back. Yeats also looking good in AAA.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted April 22, 2018 Posted April 22, 2018 Riverbrian...thoughts? Alright Here we go again. Molly obviously wanted to sit Sano because he is striking out every single time he steps to the plate. Molly is trying to not stack up his left and right handed batters so the the Rays or any team can bring in a left hander and roll through 3 or 4 left handers in a row. So with 5 left handers in the lineup he is spacing them out in the 2. Mauer4. Rosario5. Morrison7. Kepler9. Castro Molly then takes his right handed and switch hitting batters and plugs in the rest. Dozier always hits first so 1. Dozier2. Mauer4. Rosario5. Morrison7. Kepler9. Castro He plans on playing Grossman, Escobar and Adrianaza and he has them left to plug in at 3 6 and 8 spots. Molitor chooses Grossman over Escobar for the 3rd slot.
Danchat Old-Timey Member Posted April 22, 2018 Posted April 22, 2018 Alright, now they have to get at least 2 runs and then have Addison Reed throw the 7th, 8th, and 9th.
Mike Sixel Old-Timey Member Posted April 22, 2018 Posted April 22, 2018 This game is a long way from over. Like, at least an hour. Maybe more. I think the twins will win it in twelve innings
Puckett34 Verified Member Posted April 22, 2018 Posted April 22, 2018 I'm already waving my empty bottle of Scotch.
GardyParty Verified Member Posted April 22, 2018 Posted April 22, 2018 Good job that at bat for Sano. And with that his season strikeout percentage drops to a very respecatble 48.3%

LaBombo Verified Member Posted April 22, 2018 Posted April 22, 2018 Luckily we can't be mad at Eddie for grounding out because we're still too stunned by the Magellan-esque voyage of his throw to the infield.
BoofBonser Verified Member Posted April 22, 2018 Posted April 22, 2018 Well, I'm gonna go for a run if the Twins come back and win this one, you can thank meif the Twins come back but blow it like Friday night, you can thank me

jkcarew Verified Member Posted April 22, 2018 Posted April 22, 2018 And this was a good game to rest Sano....why? Doesn't matter what Sano is doing (as long as he's playing a serviceable 3B, which he has been...because you're replacing him in the lineup with Adrianza...in a game you know you're going to have to score a bunch...and he had shown signs of making decent contact the previous game...and he's the number one guy you need to get going...and...
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted April 22, 2018 Posted April 22, 2018 Pfft. From what I gather, you wish you were only "old."* *I'm so gonna die for that remark. Totally worth it, though. For the record, I don't consider myself old. Old is always 15 yrs older than me.
