Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted April 10, 2018 Author Posted April 10, 2018 Why did we demote Vargas? Oh yeah, for this garbage. Normally I would hide this and so would almost all moderators. I'm going to quote it for all to see. To serve as an example. DON"T CALL PLAYERS OR ANYONE GARBAGE! It's about as classless as you can get and a clear violation of rules. jimmer, Platoon, USAFChief and 3 others 6
jimmer Verified Member Posted April 10, 2018 Posted April 10, 2018 I thought thee hardest hit ball of the night by the Twins was Mauer's double.
LaBombo Verified Member Posted April 10, 2018 Posted April 10, 2018 2.5 hours into the game. Is our closer warming up yet? You'll know he's up when the godawful ugly lamp in Target Field's living room window that's on the same timer comes on. ashbury 1

Danchat Verified Member Posted April 10, 2018 Posted April 10, 2018 Aren’t they doing the grand casino commercials with the horribly unattractive people this year on fsn?Isn't that the demographic? Seriously though, I have no desire to gamble and seeing those commercials somehow makes me want to do it even less.
BoofBonser Verified Member Posted April 10, 2018 Posted April 10, 2018 I have a weird feeling that the Twins are going to light the Houston bullpen up I'm going to politely disagree with you, but I hope you're rightI have a weird feeling the Twins will go 1-2-3, 1-2-3 Mill1634 1

Platoon Verified Member Posted April 10, 2018 Posted April 10, 2018 What makes this series a shame, is its two good baseball teams, one of who is really good, struggling to simply get through the evening. (Along with the fans). The game may appear normal, but I cannot believe anyone operates at a high efficiency in this weather. I wouldn't be surprised if this isn't being played at a 70% level....... The GT is as usual operating at 100%. Riverbrian and ashbury 2

LaBombo Verified Member Posted April 10, 2018 Posted April 10, 2018 Did Rosario have his eyes open on that fly ball that landed 5 feet behind and to the right of him, or was he, like, trying to use The Force or something? Mill1634, Danchat, jimmer and 2 others 5

The GT is as usual operating at 100%. I remember early spring baseball. Your toes are frozen in your spikes. The sting of the bat was very real and on your mind every time you swung at the ball. Your eyes would tear up while you were trying to focus on the pitcher. You keep your throwing hand in your pants while the pitcher is going full count on every one. Your fingers are numb and you can't tell if you are holding the baseball when you finally have to make a play with it. It was hard playing baseball in this weather. Platoon and Hosken Bombo Disco 2
