The guy is a freakshow and I can't tell if he's a gimmick or legitimately good. I can't recall the last time I've seen a guy just change arm angles at will and throw some of the same pitches with very different movement.

I did a quick roster check--Blue Jays have plenty of LOOGIES so Kepler will probably face a lefty in late innings regardless. Just a matter if you want him in the game beyond that at bat.

I think it's a little from each column. His stuff is good, but not amazing. It's really just a stellar changeup with not much else. But, he's just so smart with it and has so many different looks. Throw in the pinpoint command with varying arm angles, it make sure it nearly impossible for hitters.
