Santana, Berrios, Mejia, Slegers, Gibson is looking like a passable rotation to close out the year.

Colon isn't going anywhere. He's a lock in that rotation whether we like it or not.

The Rays broadcasters are lamenting it also. "That base is stolen, I hate this about instant replay - but it's the game now". That coming from the opponent's booth.

That's good to hear, I roll my eyes when it goes the Twins way also. Losing contact with the bag for a fraction of a second should not make a guy out.

Aren't you forgetting one (not-so) little thing?

By definition it should.  This isn't horseshoes.  Learn how to slide so you stay on the bag.

I have no faith in Colon continuing to work his way out of jams with the junk he's throwing. I'm expecting quite a few duds from him the rest of the year.

I don't think anyone believes Colon is an ace or anything, but he has a sub-4 ERA with the Twins, and barring injury while be starting games for as long as the Twins continue to play them this year.

I like what Slegers has done thus far as well, but he has only thrown 9 innings.  It's clearly Slegers or Mejia for the fifth spot at this point, and neither will make starts should we get to a playoff series.

Oooops!  I was going to savage Molitor and agree with wsnydes post, and then Adrianza hits a bomb...

Molly your a genius!

This is what happens when you have Paul Q Einstein for a manager

Polanco's foot was out of the batter's box. But he pulled it back.

He was standing in front of the plate.  Looked like he was hit well out of the box as he pulled his foot back.  Awful use of replay, the system does not work at all.
