TwinsCD Verified Member Posted August 24, 2017 Posted August 24, 2017 This Polanco kid is ON FIRE....remember when some of you wanted to put him out of his misery?
h2oface Old-Timey Member Posted August 24, 2017 Posted August 24, 2017 Polanco !!!! That takes total care of any error for this game!
ashbury Verified Member Posted August 24, 2017 Posted August 24, 2017 Polanco will probably be bunting here. "You might want to check the hermetic seal on that mayonnaise jar."
yarnivek1972 Verified Member Posted August 24, 2017 Posted August 24, 2017 One way or the other this is shields' last hitter.
h2oface Old-Timey Member Posted August 24, 2017 Posted August 24, 2017 Can Hill get an official no-hitter if he doesn't finish the game? Even if he comes out for the 10th, and keeps the no-no, the Dodgers would have to score in the 11th and there would be a bottom of the 11th to pitch.

TwinsCD Verified Member Posted August 24, 2017 Posted August 24, 2017 Geez, Joe, get the piano off your back!!
h2oface Old-Timey Member Posted August 24, 2017 Posted August 24, 2017 Lead off homer. Now he lost the game. Damn. Eight hits for the Dodgers and they couldn't push across a run. Has the mojo run out?
yarnivek1972 Verified Member Posted August 24, 2017 Posted August 24, 2017 "You might want to check the hermetic seal on that mayonnaise jar."You do understand that was typed with tongue firmly planted in cheek?
Whammy Verified Member Posted August 24, 2017 Posted August 24, 2017 Shields got super lucky he didn't wild pitch in a second run
spinowner Provisional Member Posted August 24, 2017 Posted August 24, 2017 Got distracted by the game in Pittsburgh. Dodger's Rich Hill pitched 9 no-hit innings then lost the game 1-0 on a solo home run leading off the bottom of the 10th. I think that can be defined as a hard-luck loss.
Mill1634 Verified Member Posted August 24, 2017 Posted August 24, 2017 Would really like to see Garver come in and catch
sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted August 24, 2017 Posted August 24, 2017 I see Castro got taken out.He gonna be okay?
ashbury Verified Member Posted August 24, 2017 Posted August 24, 2017 You do understand that was typed with tongue firmly planted in cheek? The Carnac photo might have been a clue I was playing along.
spinowner Provisional Member Posted August 24, 2017 Posted August 24, 2017 I see Castro got taken out.He gonna be okay?Dick said concussion-like symptoms. Could be nothing, could be the last game he ever catches. Probably somewhere in between.
drock2190 Verified Member Posted August 24, 2017 Posted August 24, 2017 Buxton's plate discipline hasn't been very impressive this series.
h2oface Old-Timey Member Posted August 24, 2017 Posted August 24, 2017 Santana sure can serve up some nice 'taters.
Whammy Verified Member Posted August 24, 2017 Posted August 24, 2017 Our announcers are not fans of this pitcher. Dick is really giving it to Bummer

Garcia's only hit given up was a home run to center field hit by Jacque Jones in the bottom of the 8th.
drock2190 Verified Member Posted August 24, 2017 Posted August 24, 2017 Terrible at bat by Vargas. Not seeing why some of you guys want to keep him up here so bad.

Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted August 24, 2017 Posted August 24, 2017 Haha that bunt attempt was atrocious
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted August 24, 2017 Posted August 24, 2017 Relax, Dick. It's a foul ball.
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted August 24, 2017 Posted August 24, 2017 Rosario gave me a heart attack with whatever that was he just did
