In other news, so far today the Twins BABIP is 1.000.

I still think that home runs should be included in BABIP.

I know the Twins pitching is terrible and we should sell all our assets and plan to compete in 2021, but someone tell me something good Castro has done since the first two weeks of the season.

Haven't you heard? Anytime a Twins pitcher does well, Castro gets credit. When they struggle - you know, like nearly all of them have done all season - it's because they aren't listening to him or the coaches. I mean, there's no other explanation that justifies spending $24,000,000 on Castro over three seasons. Right?

That's why he'd batting cleanup! (Too bad there was nobody on base to clean up.) And this game is 3/4 of the way to the home run cycle. Who's going to hit the granny to finish the job?

I wonder if the Twins have studied whether Buxton should just steal on pitcher's first move and not even worry about if the move is a pickoff attempt.

It appeared to me that Grossman was tagged before Escobar touched the plate. Of course, it also appeared that Grossman was safe. So, I think both umpires on the field made wrong calls.

Well, he'd have been in a heap of trouble if the run hadn't scored. I usually like aggressive baserunning, but he put at risk a run that was in whether he stays at first or not. Dumb move.
