mickeymental Verified Member Posted July 15, 2017 Posted July 15, 2017 Why do you listen to the announcers? I usually put good music on during tv sports.i'm thinking bad music might be more appropriate here. Riverbrian 1
Blake Verified Member Posted July 15, 2017 Posted July 15, 2017 It's not often you see an 8 run error. Evidently, you were not watching the other games against Houston... Riverbrian 1
jimmer Verified Member Posted July 15, 2017 Posted July 15, 2017 Only 3 ER so far. But ERA tells the story. The pitchers didn't actually just crumble in front of us. Danchat 1
Blake Verified Member Posted July 15, 2017 Posted July 15, 2017 Time for ice cream. Good for celebrating and sorrows. Riverbrian and jimmer 2
jimmer Verified Member Posted July 15, 2017 Posted July 15, 2017 (edited) If we had done a drinking game where you took a shot every time Torii said Veteran then you would be hammered already. (cause, you know, he's really bragging about the end of his career and how it as viewed by so many), Edited July 15, 2017 by jimmer Danchat, h2oface, Intramural Legend and 1 other 4
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted July 15, 2017 Posted July 15, 2017 Just a friendly reminder that we still have 2 years and 2 1/2 months left of Phil Hughes adorduan, D.C Twins, jimmer and 1 other 4
ScooterDance Provisional Member Posted July 15, 2017 Posted July 15, 2017 LOOOOOOOOOOOOOL That is all. jimmer 1
Twinsoholic Verified Member Posted July 15, 2017 Posted July 15, 2017 Berries was way too tentative. He was squeezed just a bit, but walking Beltran was as unforgivable as Polanco's error. Berrios needs to come back next start attacking the K zone. jimmer 1
Danchat Verified Member Posted July 15, 2017 Posted July 15, 2017 If you're looking for a silver lining, at least Granite doesn't seem capable of overthrowing the cutoff man with that arm of his, unlike Rosario. We really need to see more Adrianza and Escobar at short. Polanco needs some time on the bench to clear his head. D.C Twins, Blake, jimmer and 1 other 4
Twinsoholic Verified Member Posted July 15, 2017 Posted July 15, 2017 We need to do to Hughes what Boston did to Panda today. adorduan 1

jimmer Verified Member Posted July 15, 2017 Posted July 15, 2017 Altuve throwing a mini-tantrum is funnier cause he's so small ;-) Riverbrian and adorduan 2
Cap'n Piranha Verified Member Posted July 15, 2017 Posted July 15, 2017 Assuming an L tonight, the Twins will be 0-4 against Houston, with a run differential of negative 25-35 runs. Oh, and 3 of those 4 games were started by Santana and Berrios. This just in: we're not a #3 starter and a couple of bullpen arms away. h2oface and Danchat 2

With Granite's underthrowing, the guy will already have taken that extra base. Danchat and jimmer 2

Intramural Legend Verified Member Posted July 15, 2017 Posted July 15, 2017 I think the Twins may have something to do with the quality of the game thread. Welcome back to Twins baseball
twinsbaby Verified Member Posted July 15, 2017 Posted July 15, 2017 Ok, I hope to wtach Sano and Buxton 300Ks season right now. Please continue to swing and miss, Twin boy.
Danchat Verified Member Posted July 15, 2017 Posted July 15, 2017 Berrios may have had a bad outing but at least he only gave up one extra base hit. Hughes has already given up 3 XBHs to the first 4 batters he's faced. And unlike the rest of you guys, I'll won't be checking out. I'll be here until the end - not because I think the Twins can still win, just for curiousity. I want to see if Houston can score 20+ runs and break some records. adorduan Verified Member Posted July 15, 2017 Posted July 15, 2017 It's not often you see an 8 run error. I'm going to mark down where I was. Yes, error was costly, but Berrios was terrible tonight. You go 2-0, 3-0 on almost every batter you are going to get results like this. He was lucky in the 1st inning,he wasn't throwing strikes then either. Danchat 1
h2oface Old-Timey Member Posted July 15, 2017 Posted July 15, 2017 It's not often you see an 8 run error. I'm going to mark down where I was. Polanco is making Hughes suck, too? Quite a reach for the young fella. adorduan 1
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted July 15, 2017 Posted July 15, 2017 Is the injury that Perkins has contagious and is it possible PH gets it too?
h2oface Old-Timey Member Posted July 15, 2017 Posted July 15, 2017 I'm ruining the game thread apparently, so I'm out. Enjoy all and GO TWINS! Naw....... it's all Polanco's fault. adorduan 1
