glunn Community Moderator Posted June 24, 2017 Posted June 24, 2017 Since I got my first smart phone yesterday the woman inside tells me that the Twins are leading whenever I ask her for the score. I am not using game day so long as she keeps up the good news.
drock2190 Verified Member Posted June 24, 2017 Posted June 24, 2017 Grossman like..."Vargas you heavy"
spinowner Provisional Member Posted June 24, 2017 Posted June 24, 2017 Interesting. Leinenkugel's ad on the Cleveland broadcast.
PDX Twin Verified Member Posted June 24, 2017 Posted June 24, 2017 Too bad. Gibson throws a Kluber-strike and ends up out of the game after a walk.
PDX Twin Verified Member Posted June 24, 2017 Posted June 24, 2017 Great play, but an infield single against the fastest 99% of AL runners...
Circus Boy Verified Member Posted June 24, 2017 Posted June 24, 2017 I'm at work and didn't see Duffy's last K, but my guess he got Santana out with three wicked slurves in the zone. Speaking of Duffy, is he a pitcher now, or what?
kdrupp09 Verified Member Posted June 24, 2017 Posted June 24, 2017 SO maybe wrong thread but if the game ends with this score does Duffy get the W?
ashbury Verified Member Posted June 24, 2017 Posted June 24, 2017 I keep telling all who will listen that I married well. Today I pointed out to Mrs Ash that "our backup catcher is playing left field today." She replied, "he gets to do a LOT of things, doesn't he?" She keeps up with our team - not something to take for granted in any spouse.
NorthwestTwinsFan Provisional Member Posted June 24, 2017 Posted June 24, 2017 SO maybe wrong thread but if the game ends with this score does Duffy get the W?Yes. Although I wish baseball would just do away with the "Win/Loss" stat for pitchers.
ashbury Verified Member Posted June 24, 2017 Posted June 24, 2017 SO maybe wrong thread but if the game ends with this score does Duffy get the W?Right thread, wrong jinx. But, high probability, IMO.
ashbury Verified Member Posted June 24, 2017 Posted June 24, 2017 Vargas is a ballplayer, not just a DH stationed at 1st. Went for the DP. Still didn't work out.
NorthwestTwinsFan Provisional Member Posted June 24, 2017 Posted June 24, 2017 Why does Molitor keep putting Belisle out there in these crucial situations? He has to be the worst pitcher in baseball.
ashbury Verified Member Posted June 24, 2017 Posted June 24, 2017 Not now. What'd I say about the jinx?
kdrupp09 Verified Member Posted June 24, 2017 Posted June 24, 2017 What'd I say about the jinx?My apologies Twins fans.
PDX Twin Verified Member Posted June 24, 2017 Posted June 24, 2017 Why does Molitor keep putting Belisle out there in these crucial situations? He has to be the worst pitcher in baseball. Well, he hasn't been good, but given that he was denied a legitimate strike three earlier, he should have been out of the inning cleanly. Grrrr.
NorthwestTwinsFan Provisional Member Posted June 24, 2017 Posted June 24, 2017 Either this umpire has money on the Indians, or he is really bad at his job.
mrmpls Verified Member Posted June 24, 2017 Posted June 24, 2017 Belisle and Breslow. Both need to be released, DOZIER= BOOM

Puckett34 Verified Member Posted June 24, 2017 Posted June 24, 2017 Is Sano available to hit?Bremer said he was. Unsure if he does or not.
drock2190 Verified Member Posted June 24, 2017 Posted June 24, 2017 Sano would have to play out in the field since everyone else is sick or injured
Puckett34 Verified Member Posted June 24, 2017 Posted June 24, 2017 Is Sano available to hit?Figured if he would, it would be here for Escobar
kdrupp09 Verified Member Posted June 24, 2017 Posted June 24, 2017 Sano would have to play out in the field since everyone else is sick or injuredSo no Rosario for either Gimenez or Grossman in the outfield then?I saw that Kepler is out today.
NorthwestTwinsFan Provisional Member Posted June 24, 2017 Posted June 24, 2017 Figured if he would, it would be here for EscobarThat might be a waste because I bet they would just walk him.
kdrupp09 Verified Member Posted June 24, 2017 Posted June 24, 2017 Ask and ye shall receive about Rosario
