Willihammer Provisional Member Posted May 28, 2017 Posted May 28, 2017 Molitor is just trolling us, right?Yes
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted May 28, 2017 Posted May 28, 2017 Another guy who can't put it in play with the bases loaded. Twins deserve to lose this game.
Hosken Bombo Disco Community Moderator Posted May 28, 2017 Posted May 28, 2017 Now we get to watch Sano take it to the field and sail a throw down the first base line!
Willihammer Provisional Member Posted May 28, 2017 Posted May 28, 2017 PH for Kepler there, when a walk wins the game, and he didn't do it for Escobar earlier, when a HR was needed. Puzzling. Now we gotta get Grossman into a corner anyway
Jerr Verified Member Posted May 28, 2017 Posted May 28, 2017 Games like this, with all it's tension, is one of the many reasons that I love baseball!!!
akmanak Verified Member Posted May 28, 2017 Posted May 28, 2017 Is it somehow Molitor's fault that Kintzler couldn't convert? The double steal, bunt attempt, and the inability to understand when a player is in a slump yet having him pinch hit with the game on the line.
Hosken Bombo Disco Community Moderator Posted May 28, 2017 Posted May 28, 2017 No. Just no.we also took the bat out of both Polanco and Mauer's hands that inning. Two for one!
Hosken Bombo Disco Community Moderator Posted May 28, 2017 Posted May 28, 2017 Dozier stealing third - Awesome play for sure

amjgt Verified Member Posted May 28, 2017 Posted May 28, 2017 Error from Sano.So. F-ing. Predictable.
Hosken Bombo Disco Community Moderator Posted May 28, 2017 Posted May 28, 2017 Now we get to watch Sano take it to the field and sail a throw down the first base line!Six of one, half dozen of the other
mikecgrimes Verified Member Posted May 28, 2017 Posted May 28, 2017 Robbie Grossman could have not fielded that although it would be odd that the Twins and Rays trotted players back out after the walk off walk.

Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted May 28, 2017 Posted May 28, 2017 This is how baseball works. Magic is not going to happen everytime. This is one of the tough days. It's been happening a lot at home. Inability to come through with guys ISP. I could live with it if they put it in play, but wayyyy too many unproductive outs.

And the pinch hitting situation to which you are referring took place almost an hour after your statement.
stringer bell Verified Member Posted May 28, 2017 Posted May 28, 2017 I don't know if the Twins have won a game this year when they made multiple errors.
Willihammer Provisional Member Posted May 28, 2017 Posted May 28, 2017 Belisles kinda got a Gary busy face
yarnivek1972 Verified Member Posted May 28, 2017 Posted May 28, 2017 we also took the bat out of both Polanco and Mauer's hands that inning. Two for one!Having Polanco bunt probably wasn't the right call. I agree withat that. But what does that have to do with using Grossman or Sano to hit for Escobar?
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted May 28, 2017 Posted May 28, 2017 Twins are 6-31 (.193) with RISP this series
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted May 28, 2017 Posted May 28, 2017 I don't know if the Twins have won a game this year when they made multiple errors. I can't like your post String.
Willihammer Provisional Member Posted May 28, 2017 Posted May 28, 2017 Couple Greenies and he'd probably pass for a stunt double
SwainZag Community Moderator Posted May 28, 2017 Posted May 28, 2017 The double steal, bunt attempt, and the inability to understand when a player is in a slump yet having him pinch hit with the game on the line. Polanco-Vargas-Kepler have gone 1-15 with 15 LOB. Not very productive day for the 2-4-5 hitters in the lineup. Too easy to blame the game on the manager when the player's aren't getting it done on the field.

SwainZag Community Moderator Posted May 28, 2017 Posted May 28, 2017 14 K's in 12 innings for Twins pitchers on a day when Gibson started
