I look at it this way. She's one of us and therefore I feel pride in her accomplishments.

In Coomer's defense, he is from the Chicago area, and you could tell the lack of Vienna Beef products were slowly killing him in the Twin Cities. I don't think he is a traitor, I just believe he made career move that probably saved his life. Now he has access to his medicine.

I hope Berrios is in the dugout watching Ervin PITCH and get hitters out without his best stuff and without the best command. Watching Ervin pitch is the biggest reason why I have wanted Berrios up for a few weeks.

I am a little surprised that it's the bottom of the fifth. I feel like maybe I misread the start time of this game. (Well, that's actually obvious in hindsight.) But I just finished work anyway, and we're up by a run. So it's not a bad spot to be in.

Though, not having seen it, I'd like to know how hard a ball is hit that doubling up buxton is possible.

Just getting caught up but it is very telling that Molitor has moved Mauer two nights in a row in the lineup...#5 now #2.  Trying to find a place for their best .252 hitter.  

 

The exit velocity rocks though.
