Normally I don't complain much about the HP umpire, but by my count he's missed roughly as many strike calls for Twins pitchers as he's made.

This is sorta embarrassing, but as you might have learned from some of our esteemed posters, I'm getting up there in years.

 

Which, of course, comes with it's own set of problems.  Mrs Chief recently asked to me get some pills to make our bedroom life a bit more...exciting.

 

So I ran right down to the pharmacy and got her some diet pills.

Geez, who do we throw out there for the 8th before bringing in "Rollie" Kintzler?

 

<cue dream sequence music>

 

*camera cuts to Molly, in the dugout, checking his mobile.  Zoom in to see he's following the TD game thread.*

*cut to close up--lineup card in hand, pencil poised--  hand begins to scrawl: "W-i-l-k..."

*cut back to Molly close up-- wry smile and barely perceptible chuckle*

 

Molly (sotto voce):  That oughta make their little heads explode...
