Sgt Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band, Star Wars Edition

[Brock Beauchamp]

It's the entire album, rewritten to tell the story of A New Hope.

It's mind-blowing. The amount of effort put into this is incredible.

Click through the YouTube icon and the entire album will play in order.

I, uh, replied on FB.

It is amazing, but, um, not sure how I feel about it for some reason.

You had me with the title of the thread. I'm going to listen to this when I go to bed; this game can't get over fast enough.

[Squirrel]

Heh, I was singing along! Classic music + Star Wars = Bliss.

For those interested in the original, it's the 50th anniversary of Sgt. Pepper's and there is a reissue coming out later this month:

I thought this was going to be about a Beatles tribute band.

[nicksaviking]

That was awesome. Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds = Luke is in the Desert and Whining. So awesome!

So are they going to do Abbey Road with Empire? Because they should.

[DaveW]

Is this the proper thread to talk about Beatles cover bands as well?

GHETT READDYYY!

Clever.  "Get by with illicit help from your friends." "Luke is in a desert and whining."

Really well conceived and even better executed. Or, the other way around - I can't decide.

[Mike Sixel]

Tomorrow is Star Wars day, we should all stream this tomorrow.

I downloaded both the video and the full album into my iTunes library.

Hot Sports Opinion:

Star Wars is ok, but highly over-rated. Especially episodes: 1,2,3,6,7.

New Hope and Emperor are the only two worth a re-watch, ever. Dot Com.

Jedi could have been good if it weren't for the stupid ass ewoks and their stupid ass stupid problems that take up 70% of the movie.

Interestingly, some would say the same about Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band.

I'm not going to argue that the ones you don't like are great cinema.....

4 and 5 are the best movies, no doubt. I kind of liked 7, but I understand why some didn't like it as much as me.
