GameThread: ST Game 1, Twins v Rays, 2/24 @ 6:05pm CT

Polanco at shortstop Experiment = failed

[AZTwin]

Gibson on a 15 pitch pitch count today?

[D. Hocking]

It is hard to believe it has already been a year since we got to experience the Sano in the outfield experiment.  In retrospect, that was probably not a wise decision.

[Thrylos]

a. I'd take Sano over their third baseman on the field

b. Gladden called Mitch Garver "that Garvey guy".  I'd take Garvey's (Mr Clean) production from Garver too

[Lee-The-Twins-Fan]

Must be.

Boy Kintzler isn't sharp today...

[Lee-The-Twins-Fan]

It's snowing here in Wisconsin. Let's hope it's SANOing in Fort Myers!!!

[Halsey Hall]

There's Buxtons first double.

[Lee-The-Twins-Fan]

I guess not...

[mikeee]

It's good to hear a game again!

[Riverbrian]

I am in the best shape I've ever been coming into Spring Training.

I'm perfectly shaped.

I had an instructor once refer to himself as an "oblate spheroid."

I'm not sure what "oblate spheroid" means but... I fell down last week and rolled for a half mile.

[Riverbrian]

Park with two of our three hits.

Looks like Park has made the team!!!

[Pardon My Dinger]

Good to finally get some of these questions answered. Park entrenched at DH, Gibson toeing the rubber on opening day, and apparently, Kintzler's going to throw in the 3rd instead of the 9th. Good deal.

[Blake]

Yeah, well, you know, that's just, like, your opinion, man.

So, your avatar is John Goodman from "The Big Lebowski..."

[Blake]

Kintzler in the third? I thought giving up a run meant he didn't make the team? After all, this is the first game of ST. We have to get these things hashed out now, I say, NOW!

[Blake]

Uh oh, I don't think Palka is going to break camp with the team. Look at all those balls hit to him he's not been able to field...

[Squirrel]

Chitown on a roll.

I haven't laughed like that since Dozier got traded, for the 4th time.

I was and then life intervened. A good intervention, though. Family thing.

But I hope my roll then nothing isn't one of those examples of a player starting out strong in ST then ends up getting cut.

I've always considered you the Carlos Quentin of TwinsDaily.

[sampleSizeOfOne]

Ah, the fine art of sleeping through half the game. Haven't done that for a while. Just like ol' times!

What i miss?

Can't wait to see us playin' like butter... that is, on a roll.

[Pardon My Dinger]

Polanco at shortstop Experiment = failed

Aw, crap. I didn't even get to see it one time...

[Blake]

Aw, crap. I didn't even get to see it one time...

And the team looks like it's starting off 0-1. That's it, off the bandwagon for me!

Gameday don't say it's over yet...

[sampleSizeOfOne]

How does that mantra go again?

"In play, run(s)" please!

[sampleSizeOfOne]

And a wildepitch breaks up the shut out...

[Blake]

Gameday don't say it's over yet...

Just getting in some practice for the regular season.

[sampleSizeOfOne]

Just getting in some practice for the regular season.

When you're right, you're right...

[spinowner]

And a wildepitch breaks up the shut out...

Wildepitch? That's a gnu one on me.

[ashbury]

I've always considered you the Carlos Quentin of TwinsDaily.

Who's the Quentin Tarantino?

[Pardon My Dinger]

Wildepitch? That's a gnu one on me.

Spinowner's in mid season form. Verrrry promising!
