Don't you guys award points, or at least gift certificates to Tom Nortons, for like punting through the uprights? :)

Missed field goals and punts that go too far are given a courtesy point for a "really good try".

If that point turns out to be the game winner, you get a voucher at Canadian Tire and split the 50/50 raffle with a member of the crowd.

I was just in Vancouver, CA.

There might be more Tim Horton's there than Starbucks in a US city.....

Especially weird given Vancouverites are notoriously snobby about TH.

They're the cool kids of the country......and largely Mariner fans.

Admittedly, that was in the tourist area where we spent one night walking around...maybe that's what it was.

Holy land prices batman!

No kidding, property in Vancouver is obscenely expensive, especially in West Van, where people routinely buy 5-10 million dollars homes just to tear them down and rebuild.

Speaking of tequila.....my sister has margarita glasses she has never used. Apparently I am making margaritas tonight, which could make for a long morning of working from her place before we drive for hours......Moderation, must remember moderation. And water...lots of water.

and bananas before you drink, and some aspirin

True, but this one is a bigger joke.

I've never tried the banana thing before, what's that do, other than fill you up and make you question why you are having bananas with your tacos?

hangovers have a lot to do with draining of potassium that occurs when drinking. bananas, great and quick source of potassium.

He wasn't creepy on Pee Wee's Playhouse ... that was an AWESOME show!! Hilarious!! But then maybe some of the subtle adult humor hidden in the show went over your head?

An adult man playing the role of an 8 year old might have passed muster, were it not for the subtle adult humor hidden in the show.

I didn't say it couldn't be creepy and funny at the same time.

Are you using your patented recipe for the margaritas tonight?

Prime rib ... Brian ... the next time you are in town, we'll head to the burger bar. They make a burger out of ground prime rib that is so tasty and juicy. I'm not a big meat-eater, but I could eat one of those a few times a week.

Sounds good

I have the diet of the average Puma.

Broken mirrors ... not sure, but I avoid breaking them. Black cats? No problem there at all! If one crossed my path, I'd call out to it and try to pet it. And if I were in the market for a cat, I'd look to adopt a black cat since they are the most difficult to place.

(True Story) The Youth team I was coaching made it to regionals and while the team was warming up I drove back to the Hotel to grab some stuff that I had left behind. I on the way back to the field... it was a half hour before game time and a Black Cat ran across the road in front of me. I stopped the car... backed up... did a u turn and went around the block to avoid crossing the path. It was the regionals... we were about to play Kansas... no way I was crossing that path.

We lost 4-1... and that's because I can't be sure that the Cat didn't cross the other road that I used since it seemed to be cutting a path across town.

For some of us, that is almost a prerequisite! :)

So, you made that up, right?

It's also genetics.  Cannot say I've ever had one, and not for a lack of trying...

Oh, but according to my former employer, and field tested by my wife, pedialite is an excellent hangover cure/preventative measure.
