Hit a HR last October off of Nolasco, flipped his bat. Zuke and Molly got super duper mad at him. So mad was the team that Rosario yelled at him later in the game while rounding the bases on a HR of his own.

#NeverForget

Baseball player's are so temperamental now.  In the good ole' days, we just got together and talked about it.

I'd take that over Zuke and Molly waving him off the field and swearing at him and then never doing anything beyond that but tell the media how some things can't be forgotten.

Jason Tyner?

Rick Sofield?

Clete Thomas?

Every AAAA outfielder ever?

Reminds me of Jordan Schafer... wait a moment, I just saw a tweet...

Derek Wetmore @DerekWetmore
Former Twins OF Jordan Schafer now owns a 3.60 ERA as a minor league pitcher in the Dodgers org. 37:8 strikeout-to-walk ratio in 35 innings.

Heh.

Anyone ready to say bye-bye to Ramirez and hello to Chargois? 'Cause I sure am.

You could replace Chargois with Reed, Melotakis, Hildenberger or Jones and my answer would remain the same: "yes."

Danny Santana today: 3 AB, 6 pitches total lmfao! He also committed an error in CF but I don't think they called it one. Thank god Molitor put him in over Buxton!!!

He was obviously tired after that midnight game last night from all his swinging and missing.

I also enjoy how Mauer still has day games after night games off despite not being a catcher anymore.

We are so loaded with DH/1B types that we had no other option but to shoehorn Grossman in as DH... Heaven forbid you put Rosario in center so Sano can DH those 3 K's from last night sure got into his head I guess.

Going into today, Mauer had more games played than any player on the team and more PAs than any other player on the team.  He's played in all but five games. Dozier tied him today. Additionally, Mauer doesn't set the lineup, never has.

You really cannot win with defense like this backing up a low SO staff. It's not just Sano. Suzuki threw out two runners, albeit on a pitchout and an odd steal of third with a lefty batting. It's such a rare event he will probably be called in for a "sample"! Nunez lollygagged a throw to first, costing Gomes far more than the Twins. Escobar a boot, Santana a misjudged fly ball, Dozier fell over, but hung on to a pop up. And that was just today. The team has likely only one very good defensive player, and that's Buxton. That's what happens when you decide you are going to be an offensive juggernaut, and club other teams into submission. There are a lot of things that have changeed over the years about baseball, but being strong defensively up the middle is not one of them.

Even Buxton severely misjudged a ball yesterday which turned into a double instead of an out.  And Mauer has been outstanding at 1B.

Nah, nah, you wait for the Indians to call you. That way you have the leverage to demand either cash OR a PTBNL.

This comment gets my belated vote for post of the game. Just the right combination of dry sarcasm and brutal honesty. Even though I'm fairly certain I don't have a vote.

Agree with Platoon, the defense was poor today and has been bad all year. Nuñez is below average and has played the key position of SS mostly. Dozier and Plouffe are probably average, but subpar play from short weakens the infield. Wherever Sano plays, he has been a liability. The catchers are below average and Grossman hasn't been very good in left.
