hybridbear Verified Member Posted July 17, 2016 Posted July 17, 2016 Wow! Poor Yan Gomes! I just got the chance to watch the replay...
hybridbear Verified Member Posted July 17, 2016 Posted July 17, 2016 To be fair, about 95% of the capable CFs in baseball would've had that ball. Now I just watched the DanSan replay...another awful one...
jud6312 Verified Member Posted July 17, 2016 Posted July 17, 2016 Looks like Francisco needs to look into some of those speed training courses this offseason. Jebus. What kind of respectable baserunner gets thrown out by Zuke?
ashbury Verified Member Posted July 17, 2016 Posted July 17, 2016 Now I just watched the DanSan replay...another awful one... This game needs a warning label. http://orig13.deviantart.net/5665/f/2012/117/7/7/773e410e8791837311d2f4d1b55dddcc-d4xpxip.jpg
jud6312 Verified Member Posted July 17, 2016 Posted July 17, 2016 Suzuki throws a runner out!!Definitely time to sell high.
D. Hocking Verified Member Posted July 17, 2016 Posted July 17, 2016 Suzuki throws a runner out!! As expected.
ashbury Verified Member Posted July 17, 2016 Posted July 17, 2016 Suzuki has no wheels whatsoever. Hard smash to third, and all that, but he wasn't even in the same zip code when the ball arrived at first.
ashbury Verified Member Posted July 17, 2016 Posted July 17, 2016 Definitely time to sell high.Or, watch for other signs of the coming apocalypse.
jud6312 Verified Member Posted July 17, 2016 Posted July 17, 2016 Bert's gonna get himself suspended here. He complimented Jose Ramirez's versatility. Does he not remember what Jose Ramirez did? One can not simply forget about how Jose belittled the Twins.
D. Hocking Verified Member Posted July 17, 2016 Posted July 17, 2016 Or, watch for other signs of the coming apocalypse. Two thrown out - Ok - now I am scared.
jud6312 Verified Member Posted July 17, 2016 Posted July 17, 2016 Jose Ramirez firest back at Rosario
notoriousgod71 Verified Member Posted July 17, 2016 Posted July 17, 2016 If only the Indians had Grossman...
Danchat Old-Timey Member Posted July 17, 2016 Posted July 17, 2016 Suzuki caught another guy stealing! Trade him noooooow!
HitInAPinch Verified Member Posted July 17, 2016 Posted July 17, 2016 Suzuki throws a runner out!!and another !!!
jud6312 Verified Member Posted July 17, 2016 Posted July 17, 2016 If only the Indians had Grossman...They'd be unstoppable.
Danchat Old-Timey Member Posted July 17, 2016 Posted July 17, 2016 If only the Indians had Grossman...We should offer him to the Indians for a prospect!
Monkeypaws Verified Member Posted July 17, 2016 Posted July 17, 2016 KG was a bit undone by his D in the sixth there. Such is the elemant of chance in the game of baseball. The stats say otherwise, but I liked what I saw from our starter today.
jud6312 Verified Member Posted July 17, 2016 Posted July 17, 2016 We should offer him to the Indians for a prospect!Do they have a Tommy Milone-type? Lest we forget that Sam Fuld brought that greatness to town.
jud6312 Verified Member Posted July 17, 2016 Posted July 17, 2016 Veteran leadership is important, as pointed out by Dick's acknowledgement of Jason Giambi, Mike Napoli and Torii Hunter. Where oh where could this Twins team find an overpaid veteran whose on-field skills are diminishing, but might still be able to impart some wisdom on the young players? WHERE?!!

jud6312 Verified Member Posted July 17, 2016 Posted July 17, 2016 Suzuki caught another guy stealing! Trade him noooooow!I believe Mr Suzuki will be subjected to a random PED test after the game today.
notoriousgod71 Verified Member Posted July 17, 2016 Posted July 17, 2016 I am now actively rooting against Grossman simply because Dick won't shut up about him. We get it, he's been a positive in this abysmal season but at the end of the day he is still essentially John Cangelosi with less base stealing ability.
ashbury Verified Member Posted July 17, 2016 Posted July 17, 2016 We should offer him to the Indians for a prospect!Nah, nah, you wait for the Indians to call you. That way you have the leverage to demand either cash OR a PTBNL.
HitInAPinch Verified Member Posted July 17, 2016 Posted July 17, 2016 We should offer him to the Indians for a prospect!make it 2
Platoon Verified Member Posted July 17, 2016 Posted July 17, 2016 I was all "excited" to read of the unexpected thrown out stealing by Zuke, and when I got to it on TiVo I see it was off a pitch out, by 3/4 of an inch. The second was a great throw. That said, I always thought stealing third with a left handed batter was so,what misguided.
jud6312 Verified Member Posted July 17, 2016 Posted July 17, 2016 What did he do?Hit a HR last October off of Nolasco, flipped his bat. Zuke and Molly got super duper mad at him. So mad was the team that Rosario yelled at him later in the game while rounding the bases on a HR of his own. #NeverForget
