operation mindcrime Verified Member Posted July 6, 2016 Posted July 6, 2016 Luckily I don't think he can be optioned anymore ... DFA or bust. Personally, I'm hoping this is the last time we see him as a Twin.Me too!

sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted July 6, 2016 Posted July 6, 2016 If I can't make up a totally new three letter word that start with "I" I gotta go with "I" AMIew?
operation mindcrime Verified Member Posted July 6, 2016 Posted July 6, 2016 There's an impostor on the field! Was it the pitcher who waited 1 & 2/3 before giving up a run?
jud6312 Verified Member Posted July 6, 2016 Posted July 6, 2016 Correct, I use "optioned" when I shouldn't often... When will he be DFA and Berrios back up? Given how well Berrios is pitching, how bad the team is and how absolutely dreadful Milone has been, I imagine he's on his last leg. Bad start tonight probably means he's on bullpen duty until the break and then looking for work shortly after. If he somehow manages to not fail, he might get another shot. It has to be pretty close to "give us one last reason" point at this time for him.
jimmer Verified Member Posted July 6, 2016 Posted July 6, 2016 Was it the pitcher who waited 1 & 2/3 before giving up a run?No, it's a Nunez impostor. He had the double and his helmet stayed on his head!
operation mindcrime Verified Member Posted July 6, 2016 Posted July 6, 2016 Vargas hits the ball so hard. He's just gotta work out... It would be a shame if he didn't.Him and Sano should go to boot camp like Private Pyle!
Hosken Bombo Disco Community Moderator Posted July 6, 2016 Posted July 6, 2016 It has to be pretty close to "give us one last reason" point at this time for him.yup and I feel like the Twins have too many guys like that going.
sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted July 6, 2016 Posted July 6, 2016 So i was thinking of visiting friends in the Twin cities soonish, but it seems unlikely to happen quite as i hoped. Oh well.
jud6312 Verified Member Posted July 6, 2016 Posted July 6, 2016 Every time Roy speaks I miss Bert a little more. Something I never possible.
Hosken Bombo Disco Community Moderator Posted July 6, 2016 Posted July 6, 2016 Milone is at the critical 3 2/3 inning mark
jud6312 Verified Member Posted July 6, 2016 Posted July 6, 2016 Seriously, listening to Roy fawn all over Tommy Milone and justifying why he's taking starts away from Berrios is making me ill. And the fact that he basically admitted it's all spoon fed to him from Ryan is even more disgusting.

Jose Berrios update: 10 hits surrendered in last 30 innings pitched
Hosken Bombo Disco Community Moderator Posted July 6, 2016 Posted July 6, 2016 I like the idea of Tommy Milone, as a soft throwing lefty to contrast with our devastating rotation of blazing righties, but honestly Milone just doesn't get it done. I was for him early but his number is up.
S. Verified Member Posted July 6, 2016 Posted July 6, 2016 Roy is the perfect fill in broadcaster, from the point of view of ownership. All he does is gush over how great terrible players are, and considering almost our entire roster is terrible players, its a match made in heaven. Unfortunately, its a match made in hell for all the rest of us. It angers me that he is paid to tell awful rambling stories and to brown nose the FO so hard that he's brown from nose to toes.

jud6312 Verified Member Posted July 6, 2016 Posted July 6, 2016 I liked Larkin when he'd fill in once in a while. Would like for him to be around more. Hell, I'd even prefer a return of Coomer. I also can't get enough of TK calling Dick "Richard." But I'm guessing the fact that he doesn't fart organizational rainbows about every crap player they bring in probably doesn't sit well with the brass.

Ryan: No, I'm 62.Quade: He's only given up 10 hits in the last 30 innings.Ryan: My cell phone connection is bad. Call me when he's pitching well.
jud6312 Verified Member Posted July 6, 2016 Posted July 6, 2016 I'm envisioning Milone getting them through 5 with the lead and then Molly leaving him in just long enough to give away the lead.
operation mindcrime Verified Member Posted July 6, 2016 Posted July 6, 2016 Ouch. I am both glad and disappointed that I cannot hear that. Jose Berrios update: 10 hits surrendered in last 30 innings pitchedWe probably won't bring Berrios up until it no longer affects his service time or something!
sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted July 6, 2016 Posted July 6, 2016 Milone with a strike out. How many pitches? Gameday has moved onto the next batter...

S. Verified Member Posted July 6, 2016 Posted July 6, 2016 I hate to praise Danny Santana, but that was a nice throw. Lucky for him, Sano's vertical isn't too impressive.
sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted July 6, 2016 Posted July 6, 2016 DanSan makes a heck of a throw to nab a guy at the plate Rosario back to Rochester in 3, 2, ...One way of getting that shut down inning. Hopefully they don't send anyone to Rochester in the middle of the game...
S. Verified Member Posted July 6, 2016 Posted July 6, 2016 I could've sworn that went straight into his glove from the original angle. Looked like an amazing catch.
