Twins just announced on Twitter that the first pitch will be at 9:50 pm. What a stupid thing to do! Why not just wait and play a double-header tomorrow? I know that both teams have to travel tomorrow night to start four-game series on Thursday in Texas, but why not do something like 11:00 am for the first game tomorrow with the second game to follow basically immediately after?

 

Whatever, I'm going to bed now.

Yesterday and carried over to today the discussion Re: MLB blackout rules interested me. After 32 years in North Dakota I retired to NW Arkansas. The closest neighboring team is KC. Quick search Kc to my home 257 miles, Next closest is Arlington, TX 338 miles. and Houston is 554 miles. Only the Texas teams "claim" NW Arkansas and I am blacked-out of Foxsports North on the MLB X-tra inning pkg. Of course with the unbalanced schedule I m Pleased that KC does not try to control NW Arkansas. I will add.... more Cardinal clothing and caps than any other team here. I do like the crew for Ranger games, probably due to some non-familiarity. The announcers on Ranger broadcasts make an attempt to discuss Twin happenings and issues.
