Danny Santana, for some reason playing left field, fielded a hot grounder and threw home to try and get the runner. Ball sailed to the foul side of the line pulling Suzuki away from the runner who slid on the fair side. Suzuki caught the ball but couldn't dive back fast enough and the missed the tag.

The complete inability to throw out base runners had probably cost us 145 runs this year
