Once again, the Twins fail to get a hit with the bases loaded.

Late rally adding some suspense:    Twins jeopardizing their chance to halve their deficit with the Braves and Reds in negative run differential with one fell swoop.

 

Edit:     The good news is that with only one scoring with the bases loaded the Twins still have a VERY good chance to reach -100 net runs by the end of the weekend.

I didn't know it had gotten to the point of no return, until I returned to see. Should've just gone to bed and read about it in the morning. But then that wouldn't have been a good start to my day. Better to know now and put it behind me. After all, tomorrow is another day.

I honestly feel a bit bad for Dick.  

 

He's got a tough job.  And getting tougher by the week.

 

I do too,  but then I often remember that it's probably pretty good to be Dick Bremer the other 21 hours of the day that he's not describing the crash of baseball's Hindenburg.    Or the other 5 months of the year,  for that matter.

Yes,  but it's closer than it should be.  The tie breaker is the bad bear breath that most bear attack survivors complain of.    But hey,   they've got over a hundred games to pull ahead of the bear,  so who knows?
