USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted June 10, 2016 Posted June 10, 2016 LOL. Ball goes into the overhang seats. Usually people would be scrambling over each other for the ball. One guy finally decides to reach over an pick it up, calmly sits down, and barely even makes the effort to show it to his girl. Thus is the state of the Twins fanbase.
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted June 10, 2016 Posted June 10, 2016 7 run inning. The THIRD time the twins have allowed at least 7 runs in an inning this year
Blake Verified Member Posted June 10, 2016 Posted June 10, 2016 Shockingly, that's what they're on pace for. Also not shockingly, 4 of the twins worst 8 seasons have occurred since 2011In same ways, that's bit disappointing. The way I see it, if you're going down in flames, go down in style.
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted June 10, 2016 Posted June 10, 2016 Just tuned back in after a nice evening walk. Did I miss anything?I told a story a page or two back.
operation mindcrime Verified Member Posted June 10, 2016 Posted June 10, 2016 Isn't Hughes available?
LaBombo Verified Member Posted June 10, 2016 Posted June 10, 2016 Also not shockingly, 4 of the twins worst 8 seasons have occurred since 2011 Well, when you're a Pohlad, a Dave St. Peter, or most of all, a Terry Ryan, you can't spend years and years telling everyone over and over and over again that money doesn't correlate to wins, and then suddenly reel off a bunch of 90 win seasons after getting your new stadium and above-average revenue stream.
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted June 10, 2016 Posted June 10, 2016 Isn't Hughes available?Haven't we suffered enoug?
David HK Verified Member Posted June 10, 2016 Posted June 10, 2016 Zoiks! Welcome to the game, Trevor, I mean, Taylor! Holy cow, this got way ugly in a heck of a hurry. I can't even type out my screeds fast enough! Just gotta chuckle and enjoy the banter---
David HK Verified Member Posted June 10, 2016 Posted June 10, 2016 Who's batting?Does it matter? Any Marlin tonight could trip over the dugout step and still wind up on second.
LaBombo Verified Member Posted June 10, 2016 Posted June 10, 2016 Isn't Hughes available? Negative. Test piloting tonight. http://cdn.history.com/sites/2/2015/07/list-howard-hughes-GettyImages-51380687-H.jpeg

Bark's Lounge Verified Member Posted June 10, 2016 Posted June 10, 2016 It's tough to see May struggle like this. It is ugly. I think he should be sent to Rochester, but is he a reliever long term? Is he a Starter? I am afraid of what the Twins org would do to him if he is sent down - I'm not sure if it would be of any benefit. It's a damn mess and thank god I am not the janitor.

adorduan Verified Member Posted June 10, 2016 Posted June 10, 2016 In a season of disappointment, Trevor May is among the worst, for me at least. He SHOULD be dominant. He's not even mediocre./But, but his K/9 rate is 13.5. Strikeouts are everything for a reliever, everyone on this board says so. /sarcasm off

Start him, sink, swim, or eventually cut, but they need to quit <fiddling> around with guys like May and Meyer. All that BP stuff with those two is just ridiculous, and has been from the start. Heh... I said, "start." Haw haw haw.

Blake Verified Member Posted June 10, 2016 Posted June 10, 2016 By the way, Bremer's "May grew up a Mariners fan and just missed pitching to Ichiro.." was some of the most inane drivel I've ever heard from Dick.

Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted June 10, 2016 Posted June 10, 2016 Marney is the only thing that can save this for me at this point
LaBombo Verified Member Posted June 10, 2016 Posted June 10, 2016 Has it gotten so bad that the team has begun hoarding cat pies from the stadium strays? Where do you think he found most of the relievers?
Blake Verified Member Posted June 10, 2016 Posted June 10, 2016 Marney is the only thing that can save this for me at this pointThere's no saving this. Which is why I turned the game off. Earlier, I asked if the Twins won, if this would be the first series sweep at home by the Twins. In retrospect, I should have known better.
jimbo92107 Verified Member Posted June 10, 2016 Posted June 10, 2016 If the game's getting a bit much, you can catch up on some Game of Thrones back story. I'm watching part 2 of the Rhaegar Targaryen story. Heart rending. Why can't I play a silver harp like that??

operation mindcrime Verified Member Posted June 10, 2016 Posted June 10, 2016 If I was the man I was five years ago I'd take a flame thrower to this team!
Blake Verified Member Posted June 10, 2016 Posted June 10, 2016 I do believe they swept the Angels back in aprilWell, the Twins are certainly working on Number 2.....

My hope for Meyer pretty much is equal to my hope for World Peace and free Dairy Queen 24/7.
