Blake Verified Member Posted May 29, 2016 Posted May 29, 2016 Great defense is so fun to watch. Love it.Considering the quality of Twins defense lately, I'm surprised any of us know what good defense is supposed to look like.

Blake Verified Member Posted May 29, 2016 Posted May 29, 2016 Every single year, I see something in baseball I've never seen before. This one really takes the cake. Weirdness and great defense all in one package. Cool.

Weirdness and great defense all in one package. Cool. Don't forget to add bad defense into that package, too. Only one official error- but Nunez and Sano, in a just world, committed errors that weren't scored properly.
jokin Old-Timey Member Posted May 29, 2016 Posted May 29, 2016 http://i.imgur.com/degQKQb.png Longest current streak in the AL Central? Glad you asked... that would be your MN Twins @ 3...
Circus Boy Verified Member Posted May 29, 2016 Posted May 29, 2016 If I'm still up at midnight. Will I be happy or sad? Well, as mama always said, "Nothing good happens after midnight." Except the most miraculous DP of the year.
Circus Boy Verified Member Posted May 29, 2016 Posted May 29, 2016 The only downside is that somehow the brain trust will convince themselves Jepsen came in and locked it down. Platoon Verified Member Posted May 29, 2016 Posted May 29, 2016 I am hoping the negativity police slept in, I finished this on TiVo this morning. Wow. What an ending. But nothing will hide the fact this is a god awful baseball team! Sheesh
stringer bell Verified Member Posted May 29, 2016 Posted May 29, 2016 Not a great game, a lot of misplays by the Twins and a couple by Seattle. They played the delayed steal just right and Santana redeemed himself a bit by making a perfect throw to double up a runner at home on a fly ball to medium center field. Seattle has to feel like they really let one get away--heart of the order hits three popups in four pitches and the preceding inning only got one run both times with the sacks juiced and no one out. Then, in the bottom of the ninth, they can't score with first and third and nobody out.

I would tell Seattle not to worry today, because Nolasco is on the mound, but with the way this series has gone, Seattle should probably worry.

USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted May 29, 2016 Posted May 29, 2016 I had to miss last night's game. I see by the ol' internets the Twins won, again. It's getting old hat. Routine win, I assume? Predictable and a bit boring? Dominant pitching as usual?
