David HK Verified Member Posted May 24, 2016 Posted May 24, 2016 The excuse for keeping May in the bullpen was that he's too valuable there to move back to the rotation. If he no longer has value in the pen he should be moved back into the rotation.Keeps up like this, it'll be the dinner rotation on the grill at Denny's. LaBombo Verified Member Posted May 24, 2016 Posted May 24, 2016 Omfg a 1,2,3 inning! Oh, MFG! Easy as 1, 2, 3! http://i.dailymail.co.uk/i/pix/2013/03/26/article-2299192-18ECD146000005DC-371_634x419.jpg Riverbrian and David HK 2

twinssporto Verified Member Posted May 24, 2016 Posted May 24, 2016 I noticed this even before the rain delay....Target Field attendance looks a lot like the KC attendance about 5 years ago. LaBombo 1
Rigby Verified Member Posted May 24, 2016 Posted May 24, 2016 Maybe they'll sign Amanda Whurlitzer. They already signed Rudy Stein and Timmy Lupus. Can't go back to the same well too often.
Pius Jefferson Verified Member Posted May 24, 2016 Posted May 24, 2016 When Dick read tonight's trivia question Bert should've replied, who cares! That would mean Bert cares that the team stinks. He hasn't since he went into the Hall of Fame.
Blake Verified Member Posted May 24, 2016 Posted May 24, 2016 Maybe they'll sign Amanda Whurlitzer.Isn't she heir to the Whurlitzer Juke Box fortune?

Blake Verified Member Posted May 24, 2016 Posted May 24, 2016 I notice the Royals seem to be able to hit to all fields. Seems like there should be a lesson there for a certain member of the Twins. David HK 1

LaBombo Verified Member Posted May 24, 2016 Posted May 24, 2016 That would mean Bert cares that the team stinks. He hasn't since he went into the Hall of Fame. There's been a sharp, coincidental decline in his interest in advanced metrics since then too, I've noticed. A more cynical person might think that interest was only based on what metrics could do to build his case for the Hall. Luckily cynicism is biologically incompatible with Twins fandom. Riverbrian 1
Rigby Verified Member Posted May 24, 2016 Posted May 24, 2016 Or the Kid on the Dirt Bike. He was a center fielder. That would be a sign and trade. David HK, Riverbrian and LaBombo 3

operation mindcrime Verified Member Posted May 24, 2016 Posted May 24, 2016 Robbie Grossman should be our All Star representative!

Mr. Brooks Verified Member Posted May 24, 2016 Posted May 24, 2016 It's decent logic... Other than... you know... May pitching really bad at this moment. So before he was too good to go back to the rotation and now he's too bad? Is there a situation where he should get another shot at starting?
Blake Verified Member Posted May 24, 2016 Posted May 24, 2016 Robbie Grossman should be our All Star representative!I've been saying that since his first game when he went 3 for 4 with a couple of RBI's. Riverbrian 1

jimbo92107 Verified Member Posted May 24, 2016 Posted May 24, 2016 One thing we don't talk about much with AAA veterans like Dean and Rogers is that, when they do come up, they look far less overwhelmed by The Show then the younger cats. Even if their stuff isn't as fizzy as some, they seem a lot more emotionally composed than the guys that are fast-tracked. I don't expect to see Taylor Rogers implode emotionally if somebody bangs a ball over the fence off him. That said, why not call up a couple more AAA veterans like Wheeler, Wimmers and Albers? None of these guys is going to wow the radar gun, but they've spent enough time in the high minors so that they're thoroughly familiar with their games. Reider, formerly33, David HK and 1 other 4
