David HK Verified Member Posted May 24, 2016 Posted May 24, 2016 You forgot the platypus. Platypuses (platypie?) are important for post 4,000.It's supposed to be "Platypussy." Coming soon, to theatres this summer. alskntwnsfn, Blake, LaBombo and 3 others 6
LaBombo Verified Member Posted May 24, 2016 Posted May 24, 2016 (edited) If a flock of crows can be a 'murder', maybe we could make the collective noun for the platypus an 'aggravated assault'. I mean, come on, if there's a bunch of the little weirdos ganging up then it's got to mean they're up to no good. Edited May 24, 2016 by LaBombo Riverbrian, Hosken Bombo Disco and Blake 3
operation mindcrime Verified Member Posted May 24, 2016 Posted May 24, 2016 So May can't get through an inning without giving up a run as well.

LaBombo Verified Member Posted May 24, 2016 Posted May 24, 2016 (edited) This is where we need Tim Laudner catching. He'd call for the same pitch in the same location. And it's basically a coin flip between a ball and a strike for the umpire when the batter takes a pitch, because there's no way he's seeing around Laudner's enormous 5 gallon bucket head. operation mindcrime Verified Member Posted May 24, 2016 Posted May 24, 2016 anyone listening to Jack, Bert and Anthony right now? Slamming the team, pretty much, AND OF COURSE, Bert and Jack comparing their complete games to pitchers nowadays and they question why our guys can't have a ton of complete games too. And, haha, Bert just said Ervin Santana, Nolasco and Hughes could be pitchers like Jack and Bert. Guys you can be counted on to stop losing streaks and such. Stopper type pitchers.Good God! Fire them all. LaBombo 1
Hosken Bombo Disco Community Moderator Posted May 24, 2016 Posted May 24, 2016 Actually an athletic play of Santana to turn his glove down at the last moment to keep it from skipping past him (or bouncing awkwardly)
LaBombo Verified Member Posted May 24, 2016 Posted May 24, 2016 (edited) Surely he was an only child. Yup, either that or his mom was big enough to get it on with the Jolly Green Giant. Edited May 24, 2016 by LaBombo
LaBombo Verified Member Posted May 24, 2016 Posted May 24, 2016 (edited) That was a great... Catch... Umm... Trap. Yeah. Didn't look right even at full speed on TV. Dick is disadvantaged by either his vantage point from one of the best seats in the house, or as one of the hardest-working professional optimists in baseball. DaveW Old-Timey Member Posted May 24, 2016 Posted May 24, 2016 Why was May brought in to the 3rd inning? Does this team actually have anything that resembles a plan?

Platoon Verified Member Posted May 24, 2016 Posted May 24, 2016 Why was May brought in to the 3rd inning? Does this team actually have anything that resembles a plan? Yes but it cannot be revealed until they win there 15th game. Early July? LaBombo and Riverbrian 2
LaBombo Verified Member Posted May 24, 2016 Posted May 24, 2016 (edited) May owes Santana a steak for that one! He still does, even after Umpire Ackbar made his ruling... Anybody who'd lay out for a fly ball during another drubbing in the middle of this season-long sewage plant system failure deserves a free meal at the very least. I thought that too for a second, and then I just poked myself in the eye, because that's just as useful as wishing this organization would wise up, and half as painful. Blake Verified Member Posted May 24, 2016 Posted May 24, 2016 I caught the video of Allen talking to May. I'm imagining the conversation went something like this: Allen: What the bleepity bleep bleep was that? May: What? Allen; Because you bleeping bleep bleep bleepity aren't bleeping bleep bleep getting the job done, you're bleeping bleep going down, son. May: Huh? Allen: You're bleepity bleeping bleep bet your bleepity you're gone to bleeping AAA tomorrow. David HK, LaBombo, Hosken Bombo Disco and 1 other 4
