sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted May 18, 2016 Posted May 18, 2016 A right-handed hitter can go opposite field? Interesting. How come it is going opposite field for a righty to hit to right field? Now that just don't make no sense... Edit: the word fiedl almost made sense there...
Mr. Ed Provisional Member Posted May 18, 2016 Posted May 18, 2016 This will be what, the 7th sweep already? Time to move on. Start making changes. All over the front office and dugout. Going to be a lot of empty seats; season tix renewal rate drop; then maybe, just maybe some changes will be made when the $$ isn't quite so nice at Tarj Mahal
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted May 18, 2016 Posted May 18, 2016 This guy wants to meet Russian beauties and he wants to meet them now!!!!!new leader.
Blake Verified Member Posted May 18, 2016 Posted May 18, 2016 Verlander isn't the Verlander of old, yet these Twins are certainly making Verlander look great again.
gmarais66 Verified Member Posted May 18, 2016 Posted May 18, 2016 This is what you call a "Rollover Game". The Twins are just going to rollover, take the loss and get out of town. What's one more loss, the season is over anyway.
jimmer Verified Member Posted May 18, 2016 Posted May 18, 2016 they called that a hit (not an error by Dozier, which it should have been) then an error by Sano (got that part right)
James Verified Member Posted May 18, 2016 Posted May 18, 2016 And there it is. Verlander has 2000 career strike outs.
Mike Sixel Old-Timey Member Posted May 18, 2016 Posted May 18, 2016 How's Oregon Is it raining yet? Mid 70s and sunny, with no bugs or humidity....... Other than that, it is a lot like MN, sleep, go to work, try to buy furniture, eat out......someday I'll actually see the Oregon part of Oregon...... We did manage to hit Theodore Roosevelt and Yellowstone National Parks on the way out. TR is a vastly under rated park....
Blake Verified Member Posted May 18, 2016 Posted May 18, 2016 I suggest the Twins hire Torii on a 2 week contract as a team moral officer/speaker or whatever you want to call him. Anything to shake things up.
gmarais66 Verified Member Posted May 18, 2016 Posted May 18, 2016 Someone should tell Rosario that pitches at eye-level are not in the strike zone.
Mike Sixel Old-Timey Member Posted May 18, 2016 Posted May 18, 2016 Is it actually possible they could have more sweeps against them than wins in 2 series? Has that ever happened other than 2-3 series in?
sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted May 18, 2016 Posted May 18, 2016 And there it is. Verlander has 2000 career strike outs.Who had the honor?

I've lived in the flat lands of Eastern North Dakota for so long that it still shocks me that something like that is actually within the borders of North Dakota. The North Unit might be even more beautiful than the South Unit. If you don't mind the occasional Oil Rig dotting the scenery.
James Verified Member Posted May 18, 2016 Posted May 18, 2016 Who had the honor?Rosario. Not exactly a surprise there.
Pardon My Dinger Verified Member Posted May 18, 2016 Posted May 18, 2016 TR is a vastly under ratedLooking forward to using this against you, out of context.
Mike Sixel Old-Timey Member Posted May 18, 2016 Posted May 18, 2016 Ya, all of a sudden ND becomes really cool and interesting out there.
Mike Sixel Old-Timey Member Posted May 18, 2016 Posted May 18, 2016 Looking forward to using this against you, out of context. That was funny.....but I did put it in there to see who'd take the bait.....
Mr. Ed Provisional Member Posted May 18, 2016 Posted May 18, 2016 More errors than hits. This is one sloppy team.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted May 18, 2016 Posted May 18, 2016 Ya, all of a sudden ND becomes really cool and interesting out there. Yeah However... the Hockey is better on my side.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted May 18, 2016 Posted May 18, 2016 That was funny.....but I did put it in there to see who'd take the bait..... Pardon my Dinger has a hook in his mouth. Give him some slack so the line don't break.
Otto von Ballpark Old-Timey Member Posted May 18, 2016 Posted May 18, 2016 I suggest the Twins hire Torii on a 2 week contract as a team moral officer/speaker or whatever you want to call him. Better make sure that's "morale" and not "morals" or we might get more than we bargained for...

Have you been downtown to the food truck block? How about the Whisky Library Bar. Awesome look inside. Then there's Ringler's Annex. Awesome look outside. There's a reason they have signs that say, Keep Portland Weird. It's weird and awesome!
James Verified Member Posted May 18, 2016 Posted May 18, 2016 The good news is that the Twins aren't even close to the record for most errors in a game. Bad news is that they are on pace to tie it.

I lived in both South Dakota and North Dakota for a long time and there's no doubt in my mind S Dakota is more beautiful.

Awesome look inside. Then there's Ringler's Annex. Awesome look outside. There's a reason they have signs that say, Keep Portland Weird. It's weird and awesome! We ended up in a suburb for the first year, renting, while we try to figure out some things. Haven't made it downtown yet, other than to get the younger son off the Train from Seattle. But, my wife has previously visited the food truck block, looking forward to it.
Blake Verified Member Posted May 18, 2016 Posted May 18, 2016 Better make sure that's "morale" and not "morals" or we might get more than we bargained for...I think it works either way. A moral officer would definitely shake things up.
Comrade Bork Verified Member Posted May 18, 2016 Posted May 18, 2016 This game has the potential to just be a normal loss, instead of some outrageous dagger to the heart loss.
gocgo Verified Member Posted May 18, 2016 Posted May 18, 2016 Somebody please take a bat to the Gatorade cooler!
