I am getting the goose bumps about the Twins like I did back in 1993 with Chevy Chase's late night show and in 1995 with movie "Showgirls". I feel electric!

So, anyone watch Berrios warm-up tonight> We basically have two pitching coaches, a manager, a catcher catching his stuff before the game.

 

We let him walk four, give up three hits, get  a couple outs. Let him throw another 40 pitches and keep going at this point. You allowed the hole to get that deep (although we are battling back, it seems). 

 

I hope he gets one more opportunity before exchanging out for Gibson. Or maybe two. But something is wrong with the field management issues here. Definitely the guy wasn't ready to pitch tonight.

TR: Yeah... Except for that Chief guy... He was talking about JR Graham and something about 25 man rosters and... I don't recall... I wasn't really listening... I was busy reading your game thread open and it took all my concentration. I felt it was a little long. Actually a lot long. 

 

Me: Yeah... I didn't want to cut anything from thought #3 because I felt it was necessary to portray what a bad day he was having. 

 

TR: I didn't read that part... you lost me when the kids were whining about air conditioning and this damn phone kept ringing. 

 

Me: I know you are busy so I won't keep you. Just wanted to say... Don't give up on Berrios yet. Let him work out his kinks with the big club. He's had some encouraging innings so far.... Terry? You still there? Terry?
