You keep using that word.   I do not think it means what you think it means.

Let's take this moment to celebrate... The lineup, as of right now, doesn't have a single batter below .200!

why?  And do you think they preferred to face Sano or was there a possible strategy behind that thinking?  With no outs or two out, maybe they don't do that.

It's a pick your poison situation really, because Mauer has been hitting well all year.

And that's why it made me laugh. It's nice to see the Twins do to others as others have done to them.

Winning beats the #**(# out of losing.

Winning with a jogoff after a blown save takes Losing's   mom,   Dorothy Mantooth,    out for a seafood dinner and then never calls her again.

Or maybe it's   pronounced   'yogoff'.     Not sure if the J is soft.

Anyone see this gem on YouTube? Really cool to see an old twins film:

Thanks! I hadn't seen it. It's great fun. I blame my lifelong fandom on that era of Twins baseball.

I learned that Frank Crosetti was the third base coach in 1970. He debuted in 1932. The historical links go way back.

I'd have thought that after being on the Mayflower, he was done with ships.  I heard that was a tough trip.

Nah ... he was well seasoned after all those months on the Ark.

Jepsen is now 2-3. Tragic. He might win 20 games yet...

Just think how awesome a starter would have to be to win 20 on a 54-win team.

Then imagine the infinite awesomeness of a reliever pulling off that feat!

Call me old school, call me crazy, call me what you will.  But I've watched a lot of baseball over the years, and I've come to one irrefutable conclusion:

Winning beats the #**(# out of losing.
