Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted April 27, 2016 Posted April 27, 2016 I mean, Jepsen won yet. It's all a part of his plan to rack up wins.
Ultima Ratio Verified Member Posted April 27, 2016 Posted April 27, 2016 Kevin Capps Jepsen is the winner, indeed?
scottz Verified Member Posted April 27, 2016 Posted April 27, 2016 Who's getting into a game first Meyer or Berrios?I don't know, but we're 2-0 with Meyer on the roster, and only 1-0 with Berrios.
ScrapTheNickname Provisional Member Posted April 27, 2016 Posted April 27, 2016 Third baseman with the walk off!!Has an excellent ring to it.
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted April 27, 2016 Posted April 27, 2016 Who's getting into a game first Meyer or Berrios?Got a million bucks says it Berrios.
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted April 27, 2016 Posted April 27, 2016 Call me old school, call me crazy, call me what you will. But I've watched a lot of baseball over the years, and I've come to one irrefutable conclusion: Winning beats the #**(# out of losing.
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted April 27, 2016 Posted April 27, 2016 Hey, we're talking about a baseball game here. That perversion has no place on the site. You took it there!
Hosken Bombo Disco Community Moderator Posted April 27, 2016 Posted April 27, 2016 Atta boy Sano. With a young team, I really like the "new hero every night" bit.yeah I was getting tired of Arcia winning all these games
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted April 27, 2016 Posted April 27, 2016 Anyone see this gem on YouTube? Really cool to see an old twins film: https://youtu.be/40xkHOCiidc
ScrapTheNickname Provisional Member Posted April 27, 2016 Posted April 27, 2016 Jepsen is now 2-3. Tragic. He might win 20 games yet...
Bark's Lounge Verified Member Posted April 27, 2016 Posted April 27, 2016 You took it there! What do you mean. I didn't do nothing.
David HK Verified Member Posted April 27, 2016 Posted April 27, 2016 Chicken dinnah.OK, for this one you get the sauce, too. 10 games gets you rice as well. Let's keep going til we can get a drumstick.
Blake Verified Member Posted April 27, 2016 Posted April 27, 2016 why? And do you think they preferred to face Sano or was there a possible strategy behind that thinking? With no outs or two out, maybe they don't do that. It's a pick your poison situation really, because Mauer has been hitting well all year. And that's why it made me laugh. It's nice to see the Twins do to others as others have done to them.
David HK Verified Member Posted April 27, 2016 Posted April 27, 2016 I'm happy with Jepsen now because that ended up being funner... umm... funnest... funniest... umm... some multiple of fun I don't know. GO TWINS!!! funn-esque.
Bark's Lounge Verified Member Posted April 27, 2016 Posted April 27, 2016 Bark ... we need another walk-off call, please. You were right kid.. it worked!
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted April 27, 2016 Posted April 27, 2016 funn-esque.Fun-ny. Ha! I KILL me!
LaBombo Verified Member Posted April 27, 2016 Posted April 27, 2016 Winning beats the #**(# out of losing. Winning with a jogoff after a blown save takes Losing's mom, Dorothy Mantooth, out for a seafood dinner and then never calls her again. Or maybe it's pronounced 'yogoff'. Not sure if the J is soft.
ScrapTheNickname Provisional Member Posted April 27, 2016 Posted April 27, 2016 Anyone see this gem on YouTube? Really cool to see an old twins film:https://youtu.be/40xkHOCiidcThanks! I hadn't seen it. It's great fun. I blame my lifelong fandom on that era of Twins baseball. I learned that Frank Crosetti was the third base coach in 1970. He debuted in 1932. The historical links go way back.
ScrapTheNickname Provisional Member Posted April 27, 2016 Posted April 27, 2016 And that's why it made me laugh. It's nice to see the Twins do to others as others have done to them. The Twins actually have poison - Mauer, Sano, Park - for the first time in a long time!
Squirrel Community Moderator Posted April 27, 2016 Posted April 27, 2016 I'd have thought that after being on the Mayflower, he was done with ships. I heard that was a tough trip. Nah ... he was well seasoned after all those months on the Ark.
Squirrel Community Moderator Posted April 27, 2016 Posted April 27, 2016 Quick, everyone google names of old ships to pile on with. We'll wait.Did anyone mention the Dokos? I still haven't gotten pastt p. 15.
LaBombo Verified Member Posted April 27, 2016 Posted April 27, 2016 Jepsen is now 2-3. Tragic. He might win 20 games yet... Just think how awesome a starter would have to be to win 20 on a 54-win team. Then imagine the infinite awesomeness of a reliever pulling off that feat! http://stream1.gifsoup.com/view6/4043309/mars-attacks-head-explode-2-o-s.gif

CampQ Verified Member Posted April 27, 2016 Posted April 27, 2016 We won. And we now have a better record than the Astros.
CampQ Verified Member Posted April 27, 2016 Posted April 27, 2016 And also the Braves and the Padres.
HitInAPinch Verified Member Posted April 27, 2016 Posted April 27, 2016 Worth repeating.3 times!! In ONE game!!
Blake Verified Member Posted April 27, 2016 Posted April 27, 2016 We won yet.I was just about to sacrifice you again and the Twins pulled it out. Consider it a reprieve and not a commutation.
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted April 27, 2016 Posted April 27, 2016 Just think how awesome a starter would have to be to win 20 on a 54-win team. ]1972 Steve Carlton says "hi!"
Mike Sixel Old-Timey Member Posted April 27, 2016 Posted April 27, 2016 I just read this whole thing. Lots of complaining about the winning pitcher.................
