Platoon Verified Member Posted April 8, 2016 Posted April 8, 2016 Since the Frozen Four has been mentioned, this is a must-watch for anyone who loves or hates Gophers Hockey. This is almost better than watching a hockey game!
Intramural Legend Verified Member Posted April 8, 2016 Posted April 8, 2016 One more out! (I am glad baseball is back. This is much better than watching the Voice)
James Verified Member Posted April 8, 2016 Posted April 8, 2016 This also means that Joe Mauer is now on pace for 81 home runs this season.
Intramural Legend Verified Member Posted April 8, 2016 Posted April 8, 2016 Ummm --- for those that wonder why they left Plouffe at third. I show you exhibit A
DrNeau Verified Member Posted April 8, 2016 Posted April 8, 2016 Oh my god, Plouffe with a great stab and throw to 2nd to end the inning!
spinowner Provisional Member Posted April 8, 2016 Posted April 8, 2016 Does Sano make that play? And to be fair, does a 22-year old Plouffe make that play?
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted April 8, 2016 Posted April 8, 2016 Since the Frozen Four has been mentioned, this is a must-watch for anyone who loves or hates Gophers Hockey. I'm going to the emergency room now. Laughing too hard. Can't catch my breath. I'll have to drive myself. I can't speak into the phone to call an ambulance... I'm laughing so hard. Yep... Driving to the Emergency Room... And there is no Valet Parking. That's like the biggest oversight on the planet.

Glad you liked it. As a UMD fan I think it actually significantly understates the typical Gophers fan.

Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted April 8, 2016 Posted April 8, 2016 Plouffe wants a Gold Glove. BTW Plouffe is now in my lineup tomorrow. I've got Santana, Escobar, Mauer and Plouffe. 5 more to go.
OrangeKicks Provisional Member Posted April 8, 2016 Posted April 8, 2016 BTW Plouffe is now in my lineup tomorrow. I've got Santana, Escobar, Mauer and Plouffe. 5 more to go. Hasn't Hughes earned another start already?
DrNeau Verified Member Posted April 8, 2016 Posted April 8, 2016 Mauer rolls over on a 1st pitch FB. Didn't square it up, but that is good to see. It was a good pitch to hit. If he can drive a few of those to RF, pitchers will have to adapt (not grooving automatic 1st pitch strikes), and defenses will, too. If he has a big year, it is going to push this team to another level.
OrangeKicks Provisional Member Posted April 8, 2016 Posted April 8, 2016 Buxton makes it look SO easy!
James Verified Member Posted April 8, 2016 Posted April 8, 2016 BTW Plouffe is now in my lineup tomorrow. I've got Santana, Escobar, Mauer and Plouffe. 5 more to go. OK. You talked me into it. I'll do it. What position do you need me to play?

Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted April 8, 2016 Posted April 8, 2016 Buxton's catch - he's in Yep Santana, Escobar, Mauer, Plouffe and Buxton 4 more to go
Hrbowski Verified Member Posted April 8, 2016 Posted April 8, 2016 Yep Santana, Escobar, Mauer, Plouffe and Buxton 4 more to goTrade Dozier for Cano.
Intramural Legend Verified Member Posted April 8, 2016 Posted April 8, 2016 Trade Dozier for Cano. Only if they throw in King Felix - We can throw in Dunseng....don't worry, we'll make it work
DrNeau Verified Member Posted April 8, 2016 Posted April 8, 2016 Last pitch Mauer swung at... 1st pitch fastball. If he were to drive a few of those, teams wouldn't know what to do. Would make him totally dangerous. http://i.imgur.com/HBXQ3Md.jpg Unfortunately hit it off of the end of the bat. I'm hoping for a serious turnaround from Joe.
Squirrel Community Moderator Posted April 8, 2016 Posted April 8, 2016 Liquor store runnerJames, did you like this twice?
James Verified Member Posted April 8, 2016 Posted April 8, 2016 Liquor store runnerI'm in. Will I be reimbursed by the team or the players directly?
