Did anyone not see this coming after the failed scoring opportunities in the 3rd and 4th? The offense has an "outburst" (by their standards) and takes a seat for the rest of the game. Hughes hadn't been sharp since the 4th or so, but we'll leave him in until he surrenders the lead.

All of us driving to Grand Rapids and we are loading up a rented Budget 16 footer and I'm driving it home on Monday.

You could always find a reason to put them to bed early.

 

For instance, they left a crumb of food on their plate..off to bed for not cleaning their plate.

 

Stumbled and dropped a tissue? That's "making a mess in the just cleaned house." off to bed.

It's so hard to pretend to be working right now--  trying to find an internet feed for the hockey game, and looking busy at the same time.  Was up at 2AM a couple weeks ago, watching UND-Michigan- the only feed I could get was in Russian!

Just wanted to to get a daylight look at Northern Michigan and avoid Chicago Traffic in a large truck.
