wxman91 Verified Member Posted April 8, 2016 Posted April 8, 2016 It's so hard to pretend to be working right now-- trying to find an internet feed for the hockey game, and looking busy at the same time. Was up at 2AM a couple weeks ago, watching UND-Michigan- the only feed I could get was in Russian! Time to show the colours--- Tight game so far. A few good chances for each team. DU about to go on their second PP.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted April 8, 2016 Posted April 8, 2016 really I do agree w/ Chi, it'll be fun and great scenery As long as I don't need Gas... Food... or... Humans of any kind. Yeah... It will be.
Squirrel Community Moderator Posted April 8, 2016 Posted April 8, 2016 I made sure to like that one twice.Lol, me too
Platoon Verified Member Posted April 8, 2016 Posted April 8, 2016 Just wanted to to get a daylight look at Northern Michigan and avoid Chicago Traffic in a large truck. Little known fact. Big cities are easier the bigger the vehicle. I have been through Chicago on 18 wheels, and two wheels, Gary to Rockford. Trust me, the truck is a dream compared to the bike.

USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted April 8, 2016 Posted April 8, 2016 Goody, now I know how to spend my day!
David HK Verified Member Posted April 8, 2016 Posted April 8, 2016 Aha! Got the radio feed- from UND, so it's almost like being in English. I still get shivers playing DU, with Zucker and Drew Shore and that crew.... whew!

I can bang that thing around in Chicago all I want.
D. Hocking Verified Member Posted April 8, 2016 Posted April 8, 2016 Ah, Duluth, the air-conditioned city. Where the ice mountains of spring destroy houses. What time of year you going through there again? I was always excited to go to Duluth, because they had escalators. Virginia was closer, and they had elevators, but Duluth was the closest escalator. It was a simpler time.

Whatever it is with Notre Dame Joining Denver might be our biggest rival now. Or UNO or UMD or St. Cloud. I can't make up my mind. We are rivals with everyone.
Hrbowski Verified Member Posted April 8, 2016 Posted April 8, 2016 The O's ground crew did that on purpose.
Intramural Legend Verified Member Posted April 8, 2016 Posted April 8, 2016 Well - that stinks. More slow starts for our Minnesota Twins!
Hosken Bombo Disco Community Moderator Posted April 8, 2016 Posted April 8, 2016 The O's ground crew did that on purpose.Or didn't do anything for it, on purpose.
D. Hocking Verified Member Posted April 8, 2016 Posted April 8, 2016 Don't forget to ask if you're there yet. I suspect that question is a large reason why we rarely took family trips that lasted more than an hour, which is maybe why I thought things like elevators and escalators were great entertainment.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted April 8, 2016 Posted April 8, 2016 I forgot to mention Saturday Night... I'm taking the Nephews on a Grand Rapids Beer tour. Hitting all the Breweries.

Hrbowski Verified Member Posted April 8, 2016 Posted April 8, 2016 The O's ground crew should be fined.

Intramural Legend Verified Member Posted April 8, 2016 Posted April 8, 2016 So - how many games until we can be discouraged?
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted April 8, 2016 Posted April 8, 2016 That's a nice 0-2 pitch. Enough for me tonight.
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted April 8, 2016 Posted April 8, 2016 The O's ground crew should be fined.Yeah, they didn't even let him warm up, so how could he know?

formerly33 Verified Member Posted April 8, 2016 Posted April 8, 2016 Well, what do you expect when you go to a hotel or an office building and push all the buttons on the elevator? You mean the elevators are almost human and get irritated when you push their buttons?
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted April 8, 2016 Posted April 8, 2016 I believe it took till game 3 to give up an 0-2 hit. Progress.
