Our golf sup up here curls and has gone to Worlds the last couple years.  Scotland last year and she got to play St Andrews.  Russia this year, and came in 3rd.

His piece said their top target was Gibson and they also were interested in Sano.  For all we know it could have been Gibson+Sano.  They could have been willing to give up Gibson, but Sano was the deal breaker. Who knows.  

 

I just think saying the Twins wouldn't give up Gibson for Tulo is mis-informed and using a small piece of information to make assumption you couldn't possibly know the answer to.

To be fair, your stats are assuming all teams have the same amount of 0-2 counts for and against.  I wouldn't doubt if the Twins were also first (or last or whatever) in getting down 0-2.  Also, I'm not confident our pitchers are frequently up 0-2.  Perhaps 0-2 RBI percentage would be a better measure?  Or are you saying that statisticians just see what they want to see?

Meanwhile on the other hand, Twins pitchers are right in the middle, getting to an 0-2 count 392 times, ranking them 16th in the league
