Bark's Lounge Verified Member Posted August 5, 2015 Posted August 5, 2015 I thought I hit a manatee while tooling around Indian River, It was Hrbeck swimming laps.Did you pet him?
Squirrel Community Moderator Posted August 5, 2015 Posted August 5, 2015 He has the arm of a left fielder, apparently. Nah.. pretty much the only place to hide his noodle arm.I was just going to reply to Scrap asking, "What? Noodly?"
twinsnorth49 Old-Timey Member Posted August 5, 2015 Posted August 5, 2015 I'm watching the Canadian feed, can anyone else hear the guy in the crowd who just keeps screaming "Phillip, Phillip" incessantly at the top of his lungs? As well as the first name of whichever Twin happens to be at the plate.
twinsnorth49 Old-Timey Member Posted August 5, 2015 Posted August 5, 2015 Nice throw by Rosario, Dozier took his eye off it.
Squirrel Community Moderator Posted August 5, 2015 Posted August 5, 2015 Okay. Didn't see your tongue in there. Sorry.Um, out of context, that's kind of weird.
David HK Verified Member Posted August 5, 2015 Posted August 5, 2015 Wow... Dozey. That's the mark of a bad team. When even the steady guys just pick exactly the wrong time for a brain fart.
twinsnorth49 Old-Timey Member Posted August 5, 2015 Posted August 5, 2015 Um, out of context, that's kind of weird. Happens a lot.
AlwaysinModeration Verified Member Posted August 5, 2015 Posted August 5, 2015 Why do you have a LOOGY warming in the pen?
David HK Verified Member Posted August 5, 2015 Posted August 5, 2015 Welp. Give 'em 4 outs, make extra pitches, even Dioner Navarro can bite you in the bum. And now, ladies and gentlemen, for your entertainment--- the Minny-sota BULL PEN!
Squirrel Community Moderator Posted August 5, 2015 Posted August 5, 2015 Oh goody, bullpen time.Um, yeah … wish there was a 'sigh, okay, resigned' button
AlwaysinModeration Verified Member Posted August 5, 2015 Posted August 5, 2015 Why is it better to wait until the run scores to bring in the lefty?

As well as the first name of whichever Twin happens to be at the plate.Yup, I'm hearing him. I remember back in 1987, sometime in early August when the Twins were playing in Toronto and in a funk. There were a group of fans who kept chanting/singing these lines when Puck was at bat - "We All Hate Kirby Puckett, He Can't Even Hit a Bucket." Even as 12 year old, I thought that was lame and not the slightest bit innovative. 28 years later - same old shiznit.
Gibby Provisional Member Posted August 5, 2015 Posted August 5, 2015 Um, out of context, that's kind of weird. It's kinda weird in context as well.
Squirrel Community Moderator Posted August 5, 2015 Posted August 5, 2015 Okay … I'm going back to work now.

As well as the first name of whichever Twin happens to be at the plate. That guy is making me nuts. If I was at the park, I'd find that doody-head and ask him politely to STFU. But only because it's Canada, and I can reasonably be assured he's not armed.
Gibby Provisional Member Posted August 5, 2015 Posted August 5, 2015 Is anyone even coaching this team?
hybridbear Verified Member Posted August 5, 2015 Posted August 5, 2015 Will the inherited runner score with O'Rourke pitching? I'd guess he will... He almost did on the hit by Goins...

David HK Verified Member Posted August 5, 2015 Posted August 5, 2015 Alas, we're in this place where a 3-1 lead is insurmountable. But it seems about to get worse....
Gibby Provisional Member Posted August 5, 2015 Posted August 5, 2015 Alas, we're in this place where a 3-1 lead is insurmountable. But it seems about to get worse.... No way...We unleash In the 7th.
Squirrel Community Moderator Posted August 5, 2015 Posted August 5, 2015 I want to relive that game we played against the Blue Jays where runs were wild pitched in, walked in, hit by pitch in and what not.
Winston Smith Verified Member Posted August 5, 2015 Posted August 5, 2015 Odd they didn't PH Cow Bell there for Revere.
twinsnorth49 Old-Timey Member Posted August 5, 2015 Posted August 5, 2015 No way...We unleash In the 7th.Who?......how? I wish I could share your optimism but I've yet to see anyone tonight who has a clue at the plate.
AlwaysinModeration Verified Member Posted August 5, 2015 Posted August 5, 2015 Estrada with a long inning. Could be a chance to put together a rally.
spinowner Provisional Member Posted August 5, 2015 Posted August 5, 2015 Can you imagine sitting next to that guy? I'd have to politely ask him to stop.....Not too difficult. You just say, "Excuse me, Mayor Ford, would you be so kind to try to keep it down just a touch?"
Gibby Provisional Member Posted August 5, 2015 Posted August 5, 2015 Who?......how? I wish I could share your optimism but I've yet to see anyone tonight who has a clue at the plate. I meant, there is no way we unleash in the 7th.
Platoon Verified Member Posted August 5, 2015 Posted August 5, 2015 Sorry I worded that wrong I guess. I'm originally from St Paul and now in Toronto. It's one hell of a city so the pot shots are kind of silly. Minne is tiny in comparison to Toronto. I'm forever a Twins fan however. Toronto is f***ing huge. I don't know what they call the extra freeways on the side, but they are as big as 494! And then there is the main one in the middle, about 8 lanes also. If you are looking for the Smith St exit, the first sign might be 6 clicks before you get there.
