I thought Sano was suppose to hit a HR there. I must have read the script wrong. Stupid writers.

Yeah... Throw at his head... Piss him off and Boom... Long Home Run into the light stand. And some how.. instead of just a few shards of glass falling harmlessly. Electrical Sparks or something... Fall and covers the entire field as Sano rounds the bases with Blood on his shirt.

Does a four pitch walk work better for you instead?

Why would anyone throw a ball to Joe, much less 4 of them. He only swings once, and the odds say it goes right to a stationary second baseman.

What were the "few things" Morris saw differently than Plouffe in last night's broadcast?! If memory serves, Morris was very supportive about the trade inactivity. Is Plouffe complaining about it to the media?!

What's this? Plouffe said what? Background please.

In memory of Mr. Piper, i declare August the month the Twins run out of bubblegum.

Someday i want to get me shades like those...

Slightly off topic, but I would like to express my sorrow to hear that Roddy Piper has died. An interesting man, and his one foray into film just happened to be possibly the best satirical look at the 1980's, when "Greed is Good" created such a disconnect between Wall Street and Main Street that it literally seemed as if the world had been taken over by aliens.

Satire is the cool shades that let you see the truth behind the facade. Roddy Piper was one of the people that really got that. Cool dude.

Hey Bark,

How bout a photo of Terry Ryan sitting in a boat on a lake with a line in the water.

... proudly holding up a trophy minnow, even as the lake around him is teeming with walleye as far as the eye can see.

I'm with you jimbo. I always loved the guy. One night in the Providence Marriot, he lead the charge to get everyone to sign autographs for a friend's kid. The Iron Sheik was awesome too.

Talking about the '65 Twins, most of the guys looked really good. They would all be in their 70s and 80s and most walked without a hitch.

Sam Mele is a few months older than my father. Sam sounded good in his lengthy video monologue. But my dad does look better. :)

Damn, old Joe is getting slow. Guy drops the ball, picks it up, flips to SS, and they still get the double play. Of course, it was a very hard hit grounder, which is why it bounced off his glove...
