Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted August 2, 2015 Posted August 2, 2015 Sam Mele is a few months older than my father. Sam sounded good in his lengthy video tribute. But my dad does look better. Hopefully your dad reads the gamethreads
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted August 2, 2015 Posted August 2, 2015 He may have dawdled. I'm not quite sure. I wish I would they would have played a Camera angle of him out of the box.
Gibby Provisional Member Posted August 2, 2015 Posted August 2, 2015 He may have dawdled. I'm not quite sure. Yeah, he's been doing that since he was 2.
sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted August 2, 2015 Author Posted August 2, 2015 Welll... What do we do different? Send Suzuki? Bunt Escobar? Hit and run Mauer?
ashbury Verified Member Posted August 2, 2015 Posted August 2, 2015 Yeah, he's been doing that since he was 2.So, Gibby, how many drinks into your evening's quota are you, at this point?
jun Verified Member Posted August 2, 2015 Posted August 2, 2015 C'mon Mauer. Start earning your job.I think Joe earned his job, he really needs to earn his salary though
ashbury Verified Member Posted August 2, 2015 Posted August 2, 2015 Hopefully your dad reads the gamethreadsNot with X-rated comments about ball boys, he won't.
Bark's Lounge Verified Member Posted August 2, 2015 Posted August 2, 2015 Hey Bark, How bout a photo of Terry Ryan sitting in a boat on a lake with a line in the water. Sorry about the delay. I am a fan of Kaat and I wanted to hear what he had to say.
Gibby Provisional Member Posted August 2, 2015 Posted August 2, 2015 So, Gibby, how many drinks into your evening's quota are you at this point? Yeah, I've been at it since 10. One of those days. I reckon I'll bow out... before you bow me out.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted August 2, 2015 Posted August 2, 2015 Could somebody explain why Joe is still hitting in the 3 spot? Cuz Dozier is in the 1 Spot
jun Verified Member Posted August 2, 2015 Posted August 2, 2015 Could somebody explain why Joe is still hitting in the 3 spot?Cuz he's Joe and Joe's making 23 million dollars a year.
ashbury Verified Member Posted August 2, 2015 Posted August 2, 2015 Yeah, I've been at it since 10. One of those days. I reckon I'll bow out... before you bow me out. Not at all. You are at your best when you are at your worst.
sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted August 2, 2015 Author Posted August 2, 2015 Sano grounds to 2nd as well, so not too much improvement over Mauer... Plouffe does something with that ball though!
Bark's Lounge Verified Member Posted August 2, 2015 Posted August 2, 2015 Come on Trev. You couldn't honor your new born with a HR. I am insulted by your triple. You are a bad dad.
JB_Iowa Verified Member Posted August 2, 2015 Posted August 2, 2015 Is it too much to ask that someone gets the ball to the outfield?
Gibby Provisional Member Posted August 2, 2015 Posted August 2, 2015 Not at all. You are at your best when you are at your worst. That's what she said.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted August 2, 2015 Posted August 2, 2015 Sorry about the delay. I am a fan of Kaat and I wanted to hear what he had to say.TR Fishing.jpg OK... No Boat... That's Cool... Yours is better. With him looking to the left like that... Have a bunch of fish jumping behind him... Dolphins... Tuna... Walleye...
nicksaviking Community Moderator Posted August 2, 2015 Posted August 2, 2015 What's this? Plouffe said what? Background please.During Plouffe's first AB, Morris said he talked to Ploufe today and implied that Plouffe didn't agree with some of his comments during last night's broadcast. I'm pretty sure Morris was talking about how not making trades was the right move last night. Morris didn't say what the discussion was about, but I'd guess if Ploufee didn't agree about a critique of a teammates defense or something else trivial, he would have been more open about the contents of the discussion.
sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted August 2, 2015 Author Posted August 2, 2015 Way to bring him in, Rosario! Way to take the wild pitch!
stringer bell Verified Member Posted August 2, 2015 Posted August 2, 2015 Plouffe taking third pays off.
JB_Iowa Verified Member Posted August 2, 2015 Posted August 2, 2015 So the Mariners do what the Twins can't do for themselves. Whatever works, I guess.

Major League Players are probably OK with trading prospects who can take their job eventually for Major League Players who can help now... Unless they trade the prospects for someone who can play your position right now. Then they would rather keep the prospects.

sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted August 2, 2015 Author Posted August 2, 2015 That's playin' hard. I'll respect Rosario bein' retired on a play like that. And no one here better suggest he was lolligagin'...
