Halsey Hall Verified Member Posted July 29, 2015 Posted July 29, 2015 Poof's a little scatter armed today, but Sano did score the tieing run.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted July 29, 2015 Author Posted July 29, 2015 Well... It hasn't been the best ball game... but we got ourselves a ball game.

Platoon Verified Member Posted July 29, 2015 Posted July 29, 2015 Hicks is a cautionary tale for those giving up on Santan, Vargas, Arcia, etc howeda7, DiscGolfer and USAFChief 3
Mike Sixel Old-Timey Member Posted July 29, 2015 Posted July 29, 2015 May the 8th is my anniversary.......apropos of nothing really. Riverbrian, Squirrel and USAFChief 3
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted July 29, 2015 Author Posted July 29, 2015 Hicks is a cautionary tale for those giving up on Santan, Vargas, Arcia, etc I agree... You never know when the light switch is found
Mike Sixel Old-Timey Member Posted July 29, 2015 Posted July 29, 2015 Hicks is a cautionary tale for those giving up on Santan, Vargas, Arcia, etcI am not sure about that. Mostly guys don't work out. What most of us want is Santana in the minors, not given up on.
Squirrel Community Moderator Posted July 29, 2015 Posted July 29, 2015 May the 8th is my anniversary.......apropos of nothing really.A belated happy anniversary! Or maybe an early one. Riverbrian, USAFChief and Mike Sixel 3
Platoon Verified Member Posted July 29, 2015 Posted July 29, 2015 I really like the Bucs corner IF defense! Riverbrian and Squirrel 2

Squirrel Community Moderator Posted July 29, 2015 Posted July 29, 2015 I agree... You never know when the light switch is foundYeah, but how much stumbling around in the dark and toes being stubbed and broken on unseen furniture should one endure?
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted July 29, 2015 Posted July 29, 2015 Hicks is a cautionary tale for those giving up on Santan, Vargas, Arcia, etcParticularly Santana, IMO.
Platoon Verified Member Posted July 29, 2015 Posted July 29, 2015 Luckily we did not think like that about Dozier, and Plouffe, and Hunter. Or else Rochester would be undefeated!
David HK Verified Member Posted July 29, 2015 Posted July 29, 2015 (edited) Well, it was shaky, but Pelf actually got the job done, and without that bonehead Plouffe play, may have still had a lead. But he is so scary the way teams the 2nd, and god willing 3rd time through start hitting missles off him. Get him out! Get him out! goes the cry, but then, we have to turn things over to the PB..... DiscGolfer Verified Member Posted July 29, 2015 Posted July 29, 2015 Hicks is a cautionary tale for those giving up on Santan, Vargas, Arcia, etcI'm not ready to give up on Santana yet, he's having a bad sophomore slump but with some more development he can be serviceable. We still need a proven SS though.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted July 29, 2015 Author Posted July 29, 2015 Duensing the 8th, May the 9th, and 10th. Or... Duensing Pitched on Back to Back Days in May... You Say.
DaveW Old-Timey Member Posted July 29, 2015 Posted July 29, 2015 Hicks is a cautionary tale for those giving up on Santan, Vargas, Arcia, etcHicks was always a 5 tool type guy, that helps a lot, the margin for error is so much smaller. The other 3 are more one tool guys which means they really need to mash (Vargas and Arcia) to make it, and it's why they were never as highly regarded. Santana needs to improve his D to where it can be, if he does that he will be fine, but that is a tall order as well. Mike Sixel 1
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted July 29, 2015 Posted July 29, 2015 May the 8th is my anniversary.......apropos of nothing really.I bet it's pretty apropos to Mrs Mikeww. Riverbrian 1
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted July 29, 2015 Author Posted July 29, 2015 Yeah, but how much stumbling around in the dark and toes being stubbed and broken on unseen furniture should one endure? To be fair I've been allowed a lot of that. USAFChief 1

Squirrel Community Moderator Posted July 29, 2015 Posted July 29, 2015 To be fair I've been allowed a lot of that. Yeah well, me, too. But it really sucks because there is absolutely little you can do for a broken toe. Riverbrian 1

DaveW Old-Timey Member Posted July 29, 2015 Posted July 29, 2015 Call me old fashioned, but when a pitcher doesn't get out of the 6th I can't credit him as "getting it done" Mike Sixel 1
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted July 29, 2015 Author Posted July 29, 2015 I think I'm the only one screaming 'GET. HIM. OUT!' on here. My wife yells that at me... A lot.
Platoon Verified Member Posted July 29, 2015 Posted July 29, 2015 To be fair I've been allowed a lot of that. One night I came home, stone sober BTW, and in the dark, got undressed, and rolled into bed. Unfortunately my wife had rearranged the bedroom furniture, and all I hit was the floor. She was still laughing at 4 am. Riverbrian, Squirrel, USAFChief and 1 other 4
