ScrapTheNickname Provisional Member Posted July 19, 2015 Posted July 19, 2015 If Robinson was pinch running for Torii on Mauer's double, would he have scored? Mauer could have advanced to third....Don't think so. Runners didn't know if it was going to be caught. (edit me out)
Twodogs Verified Member Posted July 19, 2015 Posted July 19, 2015 does perkins look ok? im not able to watch, so ive been following on cbs on my phone and according to the pitch recordings he was throwing all sliders it seemed??
sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted July 19, 2015 Author Posted July 19, 2015 well, I didn't want to see Perk blow his first save in the wild card game.Me neither. Don't want him to blow any game... But a good play by Escobar barely misses gettin' the 3rd out, a wild pitch advance, and a blooper. That's a lot of little things. Not like he's losin' it.
ScrapTheNickname Provisional Member Posted July 19, 2015 Posted July 19, 2015 Who is the least likely hero? Suzuki.
ScrapTheNickname Provisional Member Posted July 19, 2015 Posted July 19, 2015 does perkins look ok? im not able to watch, so ive been following on cbs on my phone and according to the pitch recordings he was throwing all sliders it seemed??Yes, he gave up a ground ball to short that got beat out. And there was a wild pitch that wasn't terrible. And there was a bloop. He's fine.
gil4 Verified Member Posted July 19, 2015 Posted July 19, 2015 well, I didn't want to see Perk blow his first save in the wild card game.I would have been fine waiting for spring training.
sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted July 19, 2015 Author Posted July 19, 2015 Who is the least likely hero? Suzuki.Robinson's got this next inning. If i learned anything from that Detroit game, there's no such thing as a least likely hero.Team effort, all the way.
DaveW Old-Timey Member Posted July 19, 2015 Posted July 19, 2015 Fien against Burns, Vogt and Zobrist. I don't like this one bit.
Twodogs Verified Member Posted July 19, 2015 Posted July 19, 2015 yeah, i read what was happening, i just couldnt believe he wasnt hardly throwing any fastballs, im just used to seeing perk come in blow a few by people and then drop a slider or two, but according to the pitches it was slider, slider, slider, etc... thats all i was asking.

You prove it.
DaveW Old-Timey Member Posted July 19, 2015 Posted July 19, 2015 What the hell is the point of having May in the pen if you won't use him!!!!?????
ScrapTheNickname Provisional Member Posted July 19, 2015 Posted July 19, 2015 baseball is funny game. ha ha.
DaveW Old-Timey Member Posted July 19, 2015 Posted July 19, 2015 Chalk this loss up to molitor, terrible pen usage in another extra inning game.
DiscGolfer Verified Member Posted July 19, 2015 Posted July 19, 2015 way to record an out Fien... oh wait.
TheLeviathan Old-Timey Member Posted July 19, 2015 Posted July 19, 2015 Chalk this loss up to molitor, terrible pen usage in another extra inning game. His closer blew his first save and his second best reliever blew the game. I don't put that on Molitor, I put that on ****ty options. I don't think May is really a reliever. I think they just don't know what the hell to do with him.
drock2190 Verified Member Posted July 19, 2015 Posted July 19, 2015 How about Suzuki Another great game by him
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted July 19, 2015 Posted July 19, 2015 The inability to catch anyone stealing bases is killing the twins.

AlwaysinModeration Verified Member Posted July 19, 2015 Posted July 19, 2015 What a crappy way to lose a game in the standings...Holland gives up two runs in the 9th to let Chicago back in their game, only for KC to win in extras, while Hughes goes 7.1 innings and the Twins score to in the 9th to take the lead, only to...
nicksaviking Community Moderator Posted July 19, 2015 Posted July 19, 2015 I missed most of the game. My condolences to the May family. Is he dead or just injured?
TheLeviathan Old-Timey Member Posted July 19, 2015 Posted July 19, 2015 Fien sucks, the 2nd best arm in that pen is May. I honestly don't think May is really part of the bullpen.
twinsnorth49 Old-Timey Member Posted July 19, 2015 Posted July 19, 2015 2 out in the bottom of the 9th and allowing some rinky dink ****ing run to tie the game is not Mollie.
sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted July 19, 2015 Author Posted July 19, 2015 Oh well. Good game. Learn something perhaps, and come back to play tomorrow. Thanks for the company.
TheLeviathan Old-Timey Member Posted July 19, 2015 Posted July 19, 2015 2 out in the bottom of the 9th and allowing some rinky dink ****ing run to tie the game is not Mollie. Right, keep Lawrie off the bases or at first and we don't even have to see Casey Fien take the mound tonight.
DaveW Old-Timey Member Posted July 19, 2015 Posted July 19, 2015 2 out in the bottom of the 9th and allowing some rinky dink ****ing run to tie the game is not Mollie.Him not PH for Suzuki is, him not bringing Perkins back out for the 10th is, him choosing fien over May is.
twinsnorth49 Old-Timey Member Posted July 19, 2015 Posted July 19, 2015 Steals 3rd FFS!! The A's just laughed in Suzuki's face, zero respect. Can't blame them.
AlwaysinModeration Verified Member Posted July 19, 2015 Posted July 19, 2015 Fine last 7 games: 11+ERA, more than 2 base runners per inning. And also, whoever created the forum "I believe in Vogt" also receives demerits.
