twinsnorth49 Old-Timey Member Posted July 19, 2015 Posted July 19, 2015 Argh- Twins in a meaningful game, + USA vs. Samoa in Pacific Nations Cup rugby. (Espn 3, by the way, starting in 5 minutes). It's a good day for staying home and enjoying the sporting life-- but duty calls, dang it.Go Twinkies! Go Eagles! That lock wearing number 4 for the States looks like a giant!!
nicksaviking Community Moderator Posted July 19, 2015 Posted July 19, 2015 Ha ha, Oakland is such a dump they instead show the San Fran aerials .
sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted July 19, 2015 Author Posted July 19, 2015 Plouffe lead the league in double plays hit into? Perhaps. MLB.com says he's tied for second with 15 behind a Miami 3rd baseman with 16, and i expect it's not immediately updated, so 2 could well put him there. He could do worse...
sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted July 19, 2015 Author Posted July 19, 2015 CBU No scoreafter four.
TwinsCD Verified Member Posted July 19, 2015 Posted July 19, 2015 I have to go to bed around 11 due to a nice early wakeup call. At this rate, this game will be over...or in the 10th inning.
AlwaysinModeration Verified Member Posted July 19, 2015 Posted July 19, 2015 Who does this Kazmir guy think he is with all these GIDP induced? Kyle Gibson? Mike Pelfrey?
sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted July 19, 2015 Author Posted July 19, 2015 The Plouffe giveth and the Plouffe taketh away... Fields a hard grounder w/ one out and runners on 1st and 2nd, steps on 3rd and fires to first for an inning ending double play.

Halsey Hall Verified Member Posted July 19, 2015 Posted July 19, 2015 Not with me. A pitch out of the zone no one in the world thought would go out.

twinsnorth49 Old-Timey Member Posted July 19, 2015 Posted July 19, 2015 Not with me. A pitch out of the zone no one in the world thought would go out.But did, extra impressive. Yeah, good hitters never take bad offerings deep.
AlwaysinModeration Verified Member Posted July 19, 2015 Posted July 19, 2015 That was a fairly weak rally.
TwinsCD Verified Member Posted July 19, 2015 Posted July 19, 2015 This Kazmir guy has been doing this to us for years. He needs to stop.
drock2190 Verified Member Posted July 19, 2015 Posted July 19, 2015 You have to think the A's score pretty soon here
twinsnorth49 Old-Timey Member Posted July 19, 2015 Posted July 19, 2015 Quiet in here tonight, guess a lot of the regulars are pretending they have lives on a Saturday night. Not me.
twinsnorth49 Old-Timey Member Posted July 19, 2015 Posted July 19, 2015 You have to think the A's score pretty soon hereWhy do I have to think that? Or is this a reverse jinx?
drock2190 Verified Member Posted July 19, 2015 Posted July 19, 2015 Why do I have to think that?Or is this a reverse jinx? 20 scoreless innings in a row? Sort of I guess, but there it goes.
sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted July 19, 2015 Author Posted July 19, 2015 Not a bad catch by Rosario there... Hicks tries to bring that one back into the yard, but alas, to no avail... 1-0 Oakland, and still battin'...
