Bark's Lounge Verified Member Posted June 18, 2015 Posted June 18, 2015 Easy. "Kendrick may have the best raw power in a Draft that's short on promising sluggers. He packs a lot of strength in his 6-foot-3, 235-pound frame and can put on a show in batting practice that would do a big leaguer proud. Nevertheless, there's a split camp on how well his power will play in pro ball. Scouts who like him think his top-of-the-scale raw pop could translate into 30 homers annually in the Majors. Others think he has a grooved swing and lacks bat speed and believe he'll have trouble making contact against better competition. Kendrick's power will have to carry him because he doesn't have another average tool. He's a well below-average runner with fringy arm strength. Though he has played both infield corners for Oak Forest Academy, the Southeastern Louisiana recruit will be limited to first base at the next level." http://powershowcase.wpengine.netdna-cdn.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/10/LA-Kolton-Kendrick-Watching-8TH-PROFILE.jpgMy retort. "Hawk may have the best raw power in a dive bar that's short on promising arm wrestlers. He packs a lot of strength in his 5-foot-8, 235-pound frame and can put on a show in bicep flexing that would do a body builder proud. Nevertheless, there's a split camp on how well his power will play in semi-pro arm wrestling. Scouts who like him think his "Over the Top" raw pop could translate into 30 tournament wins annually in the dive bar circuit. Others think he has a grooved tricep and lacks arm speed and believe he'll have trouble making slam downs against better competition. Lincoln's power will have to carry him because he doesn't have another average tool. He's a well below-average drinker with fringy alcohol tolerance. Though he has played both sides of the table in VFW's and American Legions in San Bernardino, CA, the career truck driver will be limited to the right side of table at the next level." David HK Verified Member Posted June 18, 2015 Posted June 18, 2015 I am so sick and tired of dinosaur and pirate movies. I would much rather watch a movie about the Pleistocene Epoch or People who are world champion Peonies growers.I think that's an Errol Morris movie already--
sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted June 18, 2015 Posted June 18, 2015 Run(s) please. Done and done. (Double by Plouffe, K for Hunter, Single by Rosario (Plouffe to third), Rosario draws an errant throw, allowing him to advance to 3rd and Plouffe to score) And Nunez sac flies Rosario home! 2-1 Twins w/ 2 outs in the 4th.

stringer bell Verified Member Posted June 18, 2015 Posted June 18, 2015 Good base running by Rosario. He wasn't content to take one base and then scored on the medium fly ball.
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted June 18, 2015 Posted June 18, 2015 The lead? Now what?3 quick outs and a 5 hr downpour.
sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted June 18, 2015 Posted June 18, 2015 Elsewhere. "Attached thumbnails" sounds disconcerting. But the picture of cones is pretty. And as long as it isn't elsewhen, that's okay with me. Just can't seem to get a grip on simultaneity...

sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted June 18, 2015 Posted June 18, 2015 That 4th wasn't quite reminiscent of the first 2 games of '87, but better than we've had in a while...
