I guess Bark and I have to arm wrestle to see who takes theirs down. :)

Don't worry about it. Repetition is good. Being an old man now, I'm not too sure I would want to risk my physical health by arm wrestling an 18 year old.

I've seen the movie "Over the Top" - I can't take any chances.

Let me assure you - I'm no Kolton Kendrick.

Thanks Dave, Thanks Bark, Thanks Always33.

I've been out with Mrs Chief today having lunch and watching Jurassic World.

Spoiler alert:  Skip the lines and rent the original.  Better movie and the popcorn's a lot cheaper on your couch.

A question that I have forgotten to ask until now... How is it that it takes 2 days for a multi-multi million dollar company (Twins) to get their super prospect (Buxton) his personal equipment. He wore Plouffe's cleats and used Suzuki's bats. How is that possible?

I am so sick and tired of dinosaur and pirate movies.

I would much rather watch a movie about the Pleistocene Epoch or People who are world champion Peonies growers.

My bad... I guess this is technically a series opener and therefore mine to start.

I didn't notice the change in venue and assumed 4 game series.

I'm just getting home now... Tuned in and noticed Twins as the home team.

Not sure how, but it might explain a few things.

Having lived through it, the Pleistocene Epoch is wildly overrated, IMO.  No cable, and finding a good restaurant was impossible.

6-0 twins. 2 hit complete game from Milone

Two positives so far this year: Good to excellent defense. Good pitching.

Now if the hitting could do as well.

I see Joe is still in the lineup.

I really don't get it.

Teams have been pitching Joe away, getting the strikes called and Joe has not been able to adapt.

I suppose living in Wyoming in 2015 is sort of like living in the Pleistocene Epoch... minus the extinct mammals.

The good kind of bad?Like Phat?Anyway, what are your thoughts now?Better late than never, as the saying goes...

Thought -- I wonder if both teams flew together on the same plane. Both teams hanging together at Gate 67.

Trevor Plouffe sitting on the floor with Yadier Molina next to an outlet as they charge their phones.

Torii Hunter downloading security software on to his laptop so Yadier Molina doesn't hack any information.

Brian Dozier and Kolton Wong sitting in chairs filling out thousands of all star ballots with nothing but Royals on them.

Byron Buxton talking To Jon Jay and saying we drafted a Jay this year and openly wondering where Toronto was because you'd figure that they want Jays.

Well, there you go...

Here I was about to mention that I need to remember that post and Joe gets doubled off.

I'm not sure what that means.. but I am no Lincoln Hawk. :)

Easy.

"Kendrick may have the best raw power in a Draft that's short on promising sluggers. He packs a lot of strength in his 6-foot-3, 235-pound frame and can put on a show in batting practice that would do a big leaguer proud. Nevertheless, there's a split camp on how well his power will play in pro ball. Scouts who like him think his top-of-the-scale raw pop could translate into 30 homers annually in the Majors. Others think he has a grooved swing and lacks bat speed and believe he'll have trouble making contact against better competition. Kendrick's power will have to carry him because he doesn't have another average tool. He's a well below-average runner with fringy arm strength. Though he has played both infield corners for Oak Forest Academy, the Southeastern Louisiana recruit will be limited to first base at the next level."

By the by, middle son is in attendance at Target Field tonight, all the way from New Mexico.

New Mexico isn't Mexico and it isn't really new anymore.

Good to hear that he got out.
